Description
Claims (19)
- 外科用機械のためのスマートコネクタシステムであって、
外科用機械の面上に配置される機械コネクタ;
手術用ツールであって、該手術用ツールを前記外科用機械に取り付けるためのアクセサリコネクタを有し、該アクセサリコネクタはRFIDタグアンテナを有し且つ前記機械コネクタと結合するようになっている、手術用ツール;
前記機械コネクタにごく接近して位置するRFIDリーダーアンテナであって、前記外科用機械と前記手術用ツールとの間の通信接続を確立し且つ前記手術用ツールのアクセサリコネクタ上の前記RFIDタグアンテナから識別データを読み込むように構成され、前記外科用機械は、前記識別データに基づいて、前記手術用ツールが該外科用機械と共に安全に使用可能か否かを判定するように構成される、RFIDリーダーアンテナ;及び
前記外科用機械の面上に位置すると共に前記機械コネクタの周囲に配置される照明リングであって、前記外科用機械は、該外科用機械の異なる運転モード又は異なる状態を示すべく、異なる色で該照明リングを照らすように構成される、照明リング、を有し、
前記外科用機械は、前記手術用ツールが前記外科用機械と共に安全に使用可能であると判定された場合にのみ前記手術用ツールに電力を提供するように構成され、前記外科用機械の異なる運転モード又は異なる状態を示すべく異なる色で前記照明リングを照らすことは、前記手術用ツールが前記外科用機械と共に安全に使用可能であるかに関する判定を示す所定のパターン又は色で前記照明リングを照らすことを含む、スマートコネクタシステム。 - 更に、前記外科用機械内に配置され、前記RFIDタグアンテナからの情報を読み込むように形成される回路を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記照明リングは、少なくとも2種類の異なった色の光を発することが可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記アクセサリコネクタは更に、RFIDタグを一体化させた回路を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記アクセサリコネクタと前記機械コネクタは、前記ツールに電力を供給するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記アクセサリコネクタと前記機械コネクタは、前記ツールに空気動力を供給するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記アクセサリコネクタと前記機械コネクタは、前記ツールに水力を供給するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記アクセサリコネクタと前記機械コネクタは、前記ツールにレーザ出力を供給するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記アクセサリコネクタと前記機械コネクタは、前記ツールに光を供給するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記アクセサリコネクタと前記機械コネクタは、前記ツールに流体を供給するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記照明リングは更に、
光源;及び
光拡散素子、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記照明リングは更に、
光源;及び
光屈折素子、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - リング照明システムであって、
主手術コンソールとディスプレイとを有する外科用機械;
前記主手術コンソールの面上に配置され、電力を手術用ツールに提供するように形成される機械コネクタ;
手術用ツールであって、該手術用ツールを前記主手術コンソールに取り付けるためのアクセサリコネクタを有し、該アクセサリコネクタはRFIDタグアンテナを有し且つ前記機械コネクタと結合するようになっている、手術用ツール;
前記機械コネクタと前記主手術コンソールの前記面にごく接近して位置するRFIDリーダーアンテナを備えたRFIDリーダーであって、前記外科用機械と前記手術用ツールとの間の通信接続を確立し且つ前記手術用ツールのアクセサリコネクタ上の前記RFIDタグアンテナから識別データを読み込むように構成され、前記外科用機械は、前記識別データに基づいて、前記手術用ツールが該外科用機械と共に安全に使用可能か否かを判定するように構成される、RFIDリーダー;及び
前記主手術コンソールの面上に位置すると共に前記機械コネクタの周囲に配置される照明リングであって、光源と光拡散・屈折素子とを有し、前記外科用機械は、該外科用機械の異なる運転モード又は異なる状態を示すべく、異なる色で該照明リングを照らすように構成される、照明リング、を有し、
前記外科用機械は、前記手術用ツールが前記外科用機械と共に安全に使用可能であると判定された場合にのみ前記手術用ツールに電力を提供するように構成され、前記外科用機械の異なる運転モード又は異なる状態を示すべく異なる色で前記照明リングを照らすことは、前記手術用ツールが前記外科用機械と共に安全に使用可能であるかに関する判定を示す所定のパターン又は色で前記照明リングを照らすことを含む、リング照明システム。 - 手術用ツールが外科用機械と共に安全に使用されることを確実にする方法であって、
前記外科用機械の面上に配置された機械コネクタを有する前記外科用機械と、前記手術用ツールとの間の通信接続を確立するステップであって、前記手術用ツールはアクセサリコネクタと該アクセサリコネクタに設けられたRFIDタグアンテナとを有し、前記アクセサリコネクタは前記機械コネクタと結合するようになっている、ステップ;
前記機械コネクタにごく接近して位置するRFIDリーダーアンテナによって前記手術用ツールのRFIDタグアンテナからの識別データを読み込むステップ;
前記識別データに基づき、前記手術用ツールが前記外科用機械と共に安全に使用可能か否かを判定するステップ;及び
その使用が安全である場合にのみ前記手術用ツールに電力を供給して、前記手術用ツールが前記外科用機械と共に安全に使用可能であるかに関する判定を示す所定のパターン又は色で、前記機械コネクタの周囲の前記外科用機械の面上に位置する照明リングを照らすステップ、を有する方法。 - 前記判定ステップは更に、前記識別データを、異なる手術用ツールに対応した1組のデータと比較することを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 外科用機械と共に手術用ツールを安全に使用することを確実にする方法であって、
前記外科用機械の面上に配置された機械コネクタを有する前記外科用機械と、前記手術用ツールとの間の通信接続を確立するステップであって、前記手術用ツールはアクセサリコネクタと該アクセサリコネクタに設けられたRFIDタグアンテナとを有し、前記アクセサリコネクタは前記機械コネクタと結合するようになっている、ステップ;
前記機械コネクタにごく接近して位置するRFIDリーダーアンテナによって前記手術用ツールのRFIDタグアンテナからの識別データを読み込むステップ;
前記RFIDリーダーアンテナによって前記手術用ツールのRFIDタグアンテナからの使用データを読み込むステップ;
前記識別データ及び前記使用データに基づき、前記手術用ツールが前記外科用機械と共に安全に使用可能か否かを判定するステップ;及び
それが安全に使用できない場合、前記手術用ツールを無効化して、前記手術用ツールが前記外科用機械と共に安全に使用可能であるかに関する判定を示す所定のパターン又は色で、前記機械コネクタの周囲の前記外科用機械の面上に位置する照明リングを照らすステップ、を有する方法。 - 前記判定ステップは更に、
どのツールが外科用機械に接続されているかを解明すべく、前記識別データを、異なる手術用ツールに対応した第1の一組のデータと比較することと、
前記使用データを、前記ツールを使用するのが安全か否かを示すデータポイントと比較することとを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記判定ステップは更に、
どのツールが外科用機械に接続されているかを解明すべく、前記識別データを、異なる手術用ツールに対応した第1の一組のデータと比較することと、
前記使用データを、前記ツールを安全に使用できる回数を示すデータポイントと比較することとを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記使用データにより、前記手術用ツールに伴う問題に関する情報が提供される、請求項16に記載の方法。
