Description
本出願は、2007年7月6日に出願された「カムシャフトに取り付けられた可変カムタイミング制御装置」(VARIABLE CAM TIMING CONTROLS MOUNTED IN THE CAMSHAFT)という名称の仮特許出願第60/948,219号明細書に開示された発明を主張する。この米国仮特許出願の米国特許法第119条(e)に基づく利益が本明細書で主張され、上記出願は、参照により本明細書に援用される。
Claims (8)
- 可変カムタイミング機構に取り付けられた内燃機関用のカムシャフトであって、
軸受によって前記カムシャフトに固定されかつ前記内燃機関に固定された可変力ソレノイドを収容するための中空部を備えるカムシャフト。 - 前記可変力ソレノイドの端部を前記内燃機関に固定するための管状シャフトをさらに備える請求項1に記載のカムシャフト。
- 内燃機関であって、
中空部を有するカムシャフトと、
制御バルブを有する、前記カムシャフトに取り付けられた可変カムタイミング機構と、
前記制御バルブを制御しかつ前記可変カムタイミング機構のタイミングを変化させるために前記カムシャフトの前記中空部内に取り付けられた可変力ソレノイドと、
前記可変力ソレノイドを前記内燃機関に固定するための手段と、
を備える内燃機関。 - 前記可変カムタイミング機構が、駆動力を受け入れるためのおよびカムフランジを収容するためのハウジングと、前記ハウジング内に同軸に配置された前記カムシャフトに接続するためのロータとを備える請求項3に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記可変カムタイミング機構が、前記ハウジングによって収容されたカムフランジを介して前記カムシャフトに取り付けられる請求項3に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記可変カムタイミング機構と前記可変力ソレノイドとの間の前記カムシャフトの前記中空部内に、軸受をさらに備える請求項3に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記可変カムタイミング機構が、カムトルク作動位相器、油圧作動位相器、捩り補助型位相器またはハイブリッド位相器である請求項3に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記可変力ソレノイドが前記内燃機関に直接固定される請求項3に記載の内燃機関。
