Description
Claims (14)
- 主要流路を形成する孔によって連通された流入口および流出口を有しているハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に偏心的に取り付けられているとともに、前記流出口から前記流入口を流体的に遮断する閉弁位置と、前記流出口と前記流入口とを連通させる開弁位置との間を連続した回転運動で移動するように構成されているボール部材と、
前記ハウジング内に配置されているシール組立体とを備えており、
前記シール組立体が、シールハウジング、付勢されている主シール部材および第二シール部材を有し、前記シールハウジングと前記付勢されている主シール部材との間に、第二の流路が形成されており、前記付勢されている主シール部材が、前記主要流路内に配置されているとともに、前記弁の開閉中、前記ボール部材と係合するように構成され、前記第二シール部材の一部が、前記主シール部材と密封状態を形成して係合するとともにしっかりと取り付けられ、前記第二シール部材の他の一部が、前記シールハウジングと密封状態を形成して係合するとともにしっかりと取り付けられ、前記第二シール部材が、前記第二の流路を通って流れる流体のすべての流れを妨げるように構成されてなる弁。 - 前記第二シール部材がベローズを有してなる請求項1記載の弁。
- 前記ベローズが、第一のギャップから圧力を受けると、前記主シール部材に当接するように構成されてなる請求項2記載の弁。
- 前記ベローズが、第二のギャップから圧力を受けると、前記シールハウジングに当接するように構成されてなる請求項2記載の弁。
- 前記シール組立体が、前記流入口および前記流出口のうちの少なくとも1つから流入する流体の流れに対して前記弁をシールするように構成されてなる請求項1記載の弁。
- 前記シールハウジングが、前記主シール部材に係合可能であるとともに、前記主シール部材の移動を停止させるように構成されているリッジ部を有してなる請求項1記載の弁。
- 前記ベローズが耐食性の合金から形成されてなる請求項2記載の弁。
- 前記第二シール部材が前記主シール部材を前記ボール部材に整合させるように構成されてなる請求項1記載の弁。
- 前記閉弁位置にあるとき、前記主シール部材が付勢弾性部材によって前記ボールに係合するよう移動されるように構成されてなる請求項1記載の弁。
- 前記シールハウジングが、リッジ部を有し、これにより、前記主シール部材上の流体の流れを迂回させるように構成されてなる請求項1記載の弁。
- 前記主シール部材が、シールハウジングにより、前記ボール部材に向かう方向およびそこから離れる方向に移動することを制限されるように構成されてなる請求項9記載の弁。
- 弁を動作させる方法であって、
流入口と、流出口と、主シール部材、シールハウジングおよび弾力性のあるシール部材を有したシール組立体とを備えている弁箱を提供することと、
前記主シール部材をボール部材の方向に付勢することと、
前記弁箱に偏心的に組み込まれているボール部材を回転させて前記主シール部材と係合または離脱させることにより、前記弁を通る流体の第一の流れを制御することと、
前記弾力性のあるシール部材の一部を前記主シール部材に対して密封状態を形成するようにしっかりと取り付けるとともに、前記シール部材の他の一部を前記シールハウジングに対して密封状態を形成するようにしっかりと取り付けることにより、前記シール組立体を通って流れる流体の第二の流れを妨げることとを含んでいる方法。 - 前記弾力性のあるシール部材の一部を前記主シール部材に対して密封状態を形成するようにしっかりと取り付けるとともに、前記シール部材の他の一部を前記シールハウジングに対して密封状態を形成するようにしっかりと取り付けることが、ベローズの第一の端部を前記シールハウジングに取り付け、前記ベローズの第二の端部を前記主シール部材に取り付けることを含んでいる請求項12記載の方法。
- 前記シールハウジングにより前記主シール部材の移動を制限することをさらに含んでいる請求項12記載の方法。
