Abstract

Claims (20)
- 主要流路を形成する孔によって連通された流入口および流出口を有しているハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に偏心的に取り付けられているとともに、前記流出口から前記流入口を流体的に遮断する閉弁位置と、前記流出口と前記流入口とを連通させる開弁位置との間を連続した回転運動で移動するように構成されているボール部材と、
前記ハウジング内に配置されているシール組立体とを備えており、
前記シール組立体が、シールハウジング、付勢されている主シール部材および第二シール部材を有し、前記シールハウジングと前記付勢されている主シール部材と間に、第二の流路が形成されており、前記付勢されている主シール部材が、前記主要流路内に配置されているとともに、前記弁の開閉中、前記ボール部材と係合するように構成され、前記第二シール部材が、前記主シール部材および前記シールハウジングと密封状態を形成して係合するとともにしっかりと取り付けられ、前記第二シール部材が、前記第二の流路を通って流れる流体のすべての流れを妨げるように構成されてなる弁。 - 前記第二シール部材がベローズを有してなる請求項1記載の弁。
- 前記ベローズが、第一のギャップから圧力を受けると、前記主シール部材に当接するように構成されてなる請求項2記載の弁。
- 前記ベローズが、第二のギャップから圧力を受けると、前記シールハウジングに当接するように構成されてなる請求項2記載の弁。
- 前記シール組立体が、前記流入口および前記流出口のうちの少なくとも1つから流入する流体の流れに対して前記弁をシールするように構成されてなる請求項1記載の弁。
- 前記シールハウジングが、前記主シール部材に係合可能であるとともに、前記主シール部材の移動を停止させるように構成されているリッジ部を有してなる請求項1記載の弁。
- 前記ベローズが耐食性の合金から形成されてなる請求項2記載の弁。
- 前記第二シール部材が前記主シール部材を前記ボール部材に整合させるように構成されてなる請求項1記載の弁。
- 前記閉弁位置にあるとき、前記主シール部材が付勢弾性部材によって前記ボールに係合するよう移動されるように構成されてなる請求項1記載の弁部材。
- 前記弁組立体が、リッジ部を有し、これにより、前記主シール部材上の流体の流れを迂回させるように構成されてなる請求項1記載の弁。
- 前記主シール部材が、シールハウジングにより、前記ボール部材に向かう方向およびそこから離れる方向に移動することを制限されるように構成されてなる請求項9記載の弁。
- 主要流路を形成する孔によって連通された流入口および流出口を有しているハウジングと、
シール組立体であって、弁の開閉動作中に、ボール部材がこのシール組立体に対して回転移動しながら係合しうるようにこのボール部材に近接して取り付けられており、そして、このシール組立体自身を貫通する第二の流路を有しているシール組立体と、
前記第二の流路を通って流れる流体の流れを妨げるように構成されたベローズとを備えてなる弁。 - 前記ベローズが、前記流入口および前記流出口のうちの少なくとも1つから流入する流体の流れに対して前記弁をシールするように構成されてなる請求項11記載の弁。
- 前記ベローズが前記ボール部材を前記シール組立体に整列させるように構成されてなる請求項11記載の弁。
- 前記シール組立体が、主シール部材と、シールハウジングと、その間にある付勢弾性部材とを有してなる請求項11記載の弁。
- 前記ベローズが、第一のギャップから圧力を受けると、前記主シール部材に当接するように構成されてなる請求項15記載の弁。
- 前記ベローズが、第二のギャップから圧力を受けると、前記シールハウジングに当接するように構成されてなる請求項15記載の弁。
- 弁を動作させる方法であって、
流入口と、流出口と、主シール部材、シールハウジングおよびベローズを有したシール組立体とを備えている弁箱を提供することと、
前記主シール部材をボール部材の方向に付勢することと、
前記弁箱に組み込まれているボール部材を回転させて前記主シール部材と係合または離脱させることにより、前記弁を通る流体の第一の流れを制御することと、
前記主シール部材および前記シールハウジングに弾力性のあるシール部材を取り付けることにより、前記シール組立体を通って流れる流体の第二の流れを妨げることとを含んでいる方法。 - 前記主シール部材および前記シールハウジングに弾力性のあるシールを取り付けることが、ベローズの第一の端部を前記シールハウジングに取り付け、前記ベローズの第二の端部を前記主シール部材に取り付けることを含んでいる請求項18記載の方法。
- 前記シールハウジングにより前記主シール部材の移動を制限することをさらに含んでいる請求項18記載の方法。
