Description
Claims (3)
- 重合体組成物供給口、ガス排出口、重合体出口、及び、貫通穴を有するシリンダと、
前記貫通穴を貫通して前記シリンダ内に挿入された回転可能なスクリューと、
前記スクリューの前記貫通穴から前記シリンダの外部に伸びたシャフト部分を支持する軸封軸受け部と、
を備える脱揮押出機であって、
前記軸封軸受け部は、第1の軸シール部、該第1の軸シール部と前記シリンダとの間に配置された第2の軸シール部、及び、該第2の軸シール部にガスを導入するガス導入口を有し、
前記貫通穴の内壁面と前記スクリューの前記シャフト部分表面との間に、前記ガス導入口から前記第2の軸シール部に導入されたガスが前記シリンダ内に排出される流路となる隙間を有し、
前記第1の軸シール部がウィルソンシールにより形成されており、前記第2の軸シール部がラビリンスシールにより形成されている、(メタ)アクリル系重合体用の脱揮押出機。 - (メタ)アクリル系重合体及び揮発成分を含む重合体組成物を、請求項1記載の脱揮押出機における前記重合体組成物供給口から前記シリンダ内に供給し、且つ、前記ガスとして、不活性ガス、又は、酸素ガスと不活性ガスとからなり、酸素ガス含有量が10体積%以下の混合ガスを前記ガス導入口から前記第2の軸シール部に供給して、前記揮発成分及び前記ガスを前記ガス排出口から、脱揮後の(メタ)アクリル系重合体を前記重合体出口からそれぞれ排出する、重合体組成物の脱揮押出方法。
- (メタ)アクリル系重合体の単量体、ラジカル重合開始剤、及び連鎖移動剤を含む原料を重合反応槽へ連続的に供給する工程と、
前記重合反応槽内で前記単量体を重合させて、(メタ)アクリル系重合体と、未反応単量体を含有する揮発成分とを含む重合体組成物を得る工程と、
前記重合体組成物を、請求項1記載の脱揮押出機における前記重合体組成物供給口から前記シリンダ内に供給し、且つ、前記ガスとして、不活性ガス、又は、酸素ガスと不活性ガスとからなり、酸素ガス含有量が10体積%以下の混合ガスを前記ガス導入口から前記第2の軸シール部に供給して、前記揮発成分及び前記ガスを前記ガス排出口から、脱揮後の(メタ)アクリル系重合体を前記重合体出口からそれぞれ排出する工程と、
を有する、(メタ)アクリル系重合体の製造方法。
