ここで、P(X)L(Y) は、突起Xにおける層Yの成長を表す。
これは、突起を並列的に成長させることしかできない粉体層システムとは異なる。
・中間面ストリップ55を一方のワークピースに押し込み(振動ハンマーまたはローラーを用いて)、つぎに、他方のワークピースを(振動ハンマー又はローラーを用いて)中間面ストリップの露出している突起に押し付ける。または、
・中間面ストリップを、図2および図3に示す方法と類似の方法を用いて、第1ワークピースに結合し、中間面ストリップおよび第1ワークピースを共に硬化し、第2(未硬化の)ワークピースを(振動ハンマーまたはローラーを用いて)中間面ストリップの露出している突起に押し付け、それから、第2ワークピースを硬化する。または、
・中間面ストリップを、図2および図3に示す方法と類似の方法を用いて、第1ワークピースに結合し、中間面ストリップおよび第1ワークピースを共に硬化し、共に硬化した中間面ストリップおよび第1ワークピースを第2成形型に組み込み、第2ワークピースを、図2に示す方法と類似の方法を用いて、第2成形型にレイアップし、第2ワークピースを硬化する。
・突起91,96,103(全て張り出し端縁を持つ部分を有する)は、向上した引っ張り強度を要するジョイント(又はジョイントの選択部分)に用いることができる。
・非対称の突起95または96は、特定荷重の方向での特性を改善するために用いることができる。
・各突起は、複合材料に容易に貫入することができるように、鋭利な先端を有する。
Claims (28)
構成部品における結合領域に突起のアレイを一連の層で成長させる成長ステップであって、前記アレイの各突起における各層を、継ぎ足し式の製造プロセスにより、エネルギーおよび/または材料をヘッドから前記結合領域の選択部分に指向させることにより成長させる該成長ステップによって、一方の構成部材を準備する準備ステップを有し、
前記突起のアレイを他方の構成部材に埋設することにより、構成部材を互いに接合する、方法。
前記準備ステップ中、前記ヘッドを結合領域の選択部分に材料を指向させる、方法。
前記準備ステップ中、材料を前記結合領域に指向させるとき、前記ヘッドはこの材料を溶融するようエネルギーを指向させる、方法。
前記準備ステップ中、構成部材をヘッドに対して第1の向きにして、材料を結合領域の選択部分に指向させ、ヘッドに対して前記構成部材が第2の向きをとるよう前記構成部材を回転し、またヘッドに対して前記構成部材を第2の向きにしたまま、材料を結合領域の選択部分に指向させる、方法。
突起は、一連の層の材料を前記結合領域に堆積させるステップと、前記ヘッドから各層の選択部分にエネルギーを指向させるステップとにより形成する、方法。
突起は、粉末を溶融することにより形成する、方法。
前記構成部材を、一連の層で成長させ、各層は、ヘッドから作製した表面の選択部分にエネルギーおよび/または材料を指向させることにより成長させる、方法。
少なくとも1個の突起を、非対称形状にした、ジョイント。
前記第2構成部材は、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法により形成した突起のアレイを有する結合領域を有し、前記第2構成部材の結合領域を前記第1構成部材の結合領域に接合する、ジョイント。
