Description
内燃機関の排気通路内を流れる排気ガスの一部を利用して加熱ガスを生成する加熱ガス生成装置であって、酸化機能を有する触媒と、該触媒に燃料を供給する燃料供給ノズルとを有する加熱ガス生成装置と、
前記加熱ガス生成装置の下流側に設けられた選択還元型NOx触媒と、
前記触媒及び前記NOx触媒の間に尿素水を供給する尿素水供給ノズルと、
前記触媒の出口部に設けられ、前記触媒から排出された加熱ガスを一時的に貯留して排出する貯留室であって、前記尿素水供給ノズルからの前記尿素水が供給される貯留室と
を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置が提供される。

Claims (8)
- 内燃機関の排気通路内を流れる排気ガスの一部を利用して加熱ガスを生成する加熱ガス生成装置であって、酸化機能を有する触媒と、該触媒に燃料を供給する燃料供給ノズルとを有する加熱ガス生成装置と、
前記加熱ガス生成装置の下流側に設けられた選択還元型NOx触媒と、
前記触媒及び前記NOx触媒の間に尿素水を供給する尿素水供給ノズルと、
前記触媒の出口部に設けられ、前記触媒から排出された加熱ガスを一時的に貯留して排出する貯留室であって、前記尿素水供給ノズルからの前記尿素水が供給される貯留室と
を備え、
前記触媒が直列且つ多段に設けられ、前記貯留室が、最後段の前記触媒の出口部に設けられ、
互いに隣り合う前後の触媒の間に設けられ、前段側の触媒から排出されたガスを分散させるための分散部材をさらに備える
ことを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記貯留室が画成部材によって画成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記画成部材が、前記貯留室内のガスを複数方向に排出するための複数の出口を有することを特徴とする請求項2記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記画成部材が、前記加熱ガスから受けた熱を蓄熱することを特徴とする請求項2又は3記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記画成部材が、前記触媒のケーシングに接続され、該ケーシングから伝達された熱を蓄熱することを特徴とする請求項2〜4のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記尿素水供給ノズルから供給された前記尿素水が前記画成部材に衝突するよう、前記尿素水供給ノズルが指向されていることを特徴とする請求項2〜5のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記画成部材が、前記触媒から後方に突出して後端が閉止された筒状の部材からなることを特徴とする請求項2〜6のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記触媒の入口部に設けられたヒータをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
