Claims (10)
- 酸素が濃縮された製品ガスによってユーザへ補助酸素を提供するための、可搬性に優れ、操作が簡単で、運ぶことができる酸素濃縮装置(20)であって、酸素濃縮装置(20)は重量が4.536kg未満であり、周囲空気から窒素を吸着するために、選択可能な電源の何れかの作動電圧によって加圧下で動作する2つの吸着器床を有する圧力スウィング吸着システムと、ユーザへ製品ガスを送出するための制御組立体(60)とを備え、
前記制御組立体(60)は、前記ユーザによる吸入を検出する低圧センサ(76)と、トランスデューサ(72)と、前記トランスデューサの起動によって開く流れ制御弁(74)と、設定範囲から前記製品ガスの量を選択するためのスイッチ(86)と、プログラム可能なマイクロコントローラ(77)を具備する電子回路(80)を有する酸素送出システム(70)を備え、
前記マイクロコントローラは、前記選択スイッチの設定、前記トランスデューサの起動、前記トランスデューサが起動したときの前記圧力スイング吸着システムの内部圧力、選択された電源、前記トランスデューサが起動したときの作動電圧及びユーザの呼吸レートに基づいて、必要な酸素の量を決定して、酸素の濃度が80%〜95%の前記製品ガスによって必要な量の酸素を送出するための期間を計算するものであり、
前記マイクロコントローラは、所定のパラメータ範囲内で継続的又はサンプル採取した、前記選択スイッチの設定、前記内部圧力、前記選択された電源、前記作動電圧及び前記呼吸レートに基づいて、前記トランスデューサが起動したときの製品ガス中の酸素濃度を予測し、
前記低圧センサが前記ユーザによる吸入を検出すると前記トランスデューサが起動し、前記期間にわたって前記流れ制御弁を開き、酸素の濃度が80〜95%の製品ガスをユーザに流すことを特徴とする酸素濃縮装置。 - 前記マイクロコントローラは、前記ユーザによる各呼吸又は特定の呼吸を検出したときに、計算された期間にわたって所定量の前記製品ガスを供給できる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記マイクロコントローラは、前記ユーザによって直前に成された呼吸で検出された所定数の実際の前記内部圧力から平均内部圧力を決定するための手段を更に備える、請求項1又は2に記載の装置。
- 前記スイッチは、約1〜5リットル/分と生理学的に概ね等価な流量の前記製品ガスを前記ユーザに送出するための5つの所定の設定を含んでいる、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記電子回路は、前記ユーザの実際の血中酸素レベルに応じて必要な酸素の所定量を調整するための追加の入力データを提供する酸素モニターを更に備える、請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記酸素濃度が所定レベルより下がった場合、前記内部圧力が所定レベルより下がった場合、または所定時間内に呼吸が検出されなかった場合に、前記ユーザに警告するための手段を更に備える、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記電子回路は、前記警告をするための手段としての第1,第2及び第3表示手段を備え、第1表示手段はシステム起動と前記ユーザの呼吸割合を表示し、第2表示手段は前記電源の状態を表示し、第3表示手段はシステム故障、前記内部圧力が所定値を超えたこと及び所定時間内の呼吸検出不良の少なくとも1つを前記ユーザに表示する、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記電子回路は、選択された動作モードで前記圧力スウィング吸着システムを運転することによって前記酸素濃縮装置の作動コンポーネントを試験するための手段と、前記圧力スウィング吸着システムの保守作業間の累積作動時間を測定するための再初期化可能なメータとを更に備える、請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記電子回路は、この電子回路の一部を不能にすることにより前記電源から導かれる電流を最低にするための電源初期化回路と、前記圧力スウィング吸着システムが過熱した場合に前記電源を切断する温度スイッチとを更に備える、請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が生成する前記製品ガスは、圧力が約131kPa(19psia)から約158.6kPa(23psia)以内で、装置の物理的寸法は、一つ目の寸法が43.18cm(約17インチ)未満であり、二つ目の寸法が約20.32cm(約8インチ)未満であり、三つ目の寸法が約15.24cm(約6インチ)未満である、請求項1〜9の何れか一項に記載の装置。
