Description
Claims (16)
- 高濃度の酸素を有する製品ガスを生成するための生成手段と、要求の開始のみに応じて出口を通して使用者へ送出される前記製品ガスの所望量を制御するための制御手段と、前記製品ガスを前記出口へ送出するための送出手段と、前記出口又はその付近における前記製品ガスの温度及び/又は圧力を判定するための判定手段と、を備えている装置において、
前記制御手段は、実質的にその量の前記製品ガスを前記使用者へ供給する時間の長さを設定するために前記判定された温度及び/又は圧力を利用する利用手段を含んでいる、装置。 - 前記生成手段は、作動サイクルの各段階に亘る予測可能な圧力の変動時に周囲の空気から前記製品ガスを生成し、前記利用手段は、要求が開始される作動サイクルの段階から圧力を判定する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記作動サイクルの段階に特有の時間長さが含まれている一式のルックアップテーブルを備えている、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記ルックアップテーブルは、マイクロプロセッサに常駐している、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記生成手段は、圧力スイング吸着によって前記製品ガスを生成する、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記製品ガスを供給するための、そして複数の圧力範囲それぞれに対する複数の温度範囲に固有の、所定の時間長さが入っている少なくとも1つのルックアップテーブルのセットを備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ルックアップテーブルは、マイクロプロセッサに常駐している、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記製品ガスを供給するための、そして複数の圧力範囲に固有の、所定の時間長さが入っている少なくとも1つのルックアップテーブルのセットを備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ルックアップテーブルは、マイクロプロセッサに常駐している、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記製品ガスを供給するための、そして複数の温度範囲に固有の、所定の時間長さが入っている少なくとも1つのルックアップテーブルのセットを備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ルックアップテーブルは、マイクロプロセッサに常駐している、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 高濃度の酸素ガスを生成し、前記酸素ガスを出口を通して使用者に送出するための手段を有する装置によって生成された製品ガスの所望の投与量を決めるための方法において、前記使用者による吸入を検知する段階と、吸入が検知された時間における前記製品ガスの前記温度及び/又は圧力を判定する段階と、前記製品ガスの所望の投与量を、前記判定された温度及び/又は圧力に基づく時間長さに亘って前記使用者に送出する段階と、を含む方法。
- 前記製品ガスの所望の投与量を送出する前記段階の前に、要求が開始される時間に前記製品ガスの所望の投与量を送出するのに必要な時間を計算する段階と、前記送出段階のためにアクセスされる前記計算された時間の参照表を作成する段階を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記計算は、前記サイクルを複数の所定の範囲に分割する段階と、前記製品ガスを任意の定時間供給して、前記サイクル範囲のそれぞれで、前記定時間中に送出される製品ガスの実際の圧力と実際の体積の両方を測定する段階と、それぞれのその様なサイクル範囲で前記ガス送出時間を再計算して、サイクルのその時点で要求が開始されたときに、所望の製品ガスの投与量を送出する段階と、前記サイクル範囲と再計算された時間から前記参照表を作成する段階と、を含んでいる、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 高濃度の酸素を有する製品ガスの投与量を生成するための生成手段と、要求の開始のみに応じて使用者への前記投与量の供給を制御するための制御手段と、を有する装置であって、前記製品ガスを生成するための前記生成手段は、実質的に一貫して連続している作動サイクルで圧力変動が生じている前記装置のための方法であって、所望の実質的に均一な投与量を前記使用者に供給するのに必要な時間長さを求める方法において、
前記作動サイクルの時間全体を所定の範囲に分割する段階と、前記製品ガスを任意の定時間供給して前記サイクル範囲のそれぞれで前記定時間中に送出される製品ガスの実際の圧力と実際の体積の両方を測定する段階と、その様なサイクル範囲のそれぞれについて前記ガス送出時間を再計算してそのサイクル範囲で要求が開始されると前記所望の製品ガスの投与量を送出する段階と、参照表を作成し、それによって前記サイクル範囲の中から適切な送出時間を読み取る段階と、を含む方法。 - 高濃度の酸素を有する製品ガスの所望の投与量を生成し、前記製品ガスを、変動する圧力及び温度で出口を通して使用者に送出するための手段を有する装置で用いられる方法であって、
前記使用者による吸入を検知する段階と、前記吸入が検知されたときに供給される前記製品ガスの前記温度を判定する段階と、前記吸入が検知されたときの前記ガスの前記圧力を判定する段階と、前記製品ガスを、前記判定された温度と圧力に基づく時間長さに亘って前記使用者に送出する段階と、を含む方法。
