Description
・先進的な情報の表示を可能にするためのかなりの揮発性メモリ(キャッシュ機能をもつ)、
・この情報の転送を可能にする広帯域幅をもつネットワーク接続性、
・動作のための十分な度合いの自立性(autonomy)を保証するための先進的な電源システム。
電波リンクを通じてデータ・ストリームを受信する手段を有し:
・ユーザーの要求なしに、前記ディスプレイ画面上で前記データ・ストリームからの情報(I1)を自動的に表示し、ここで、この情報(I1)の一部は表示の継続期間より長い時間期間の間、ランダム・アクセス・メモリに保存される、手段と;
・ユーザーの要求に際して、前記ディスプレイ画面上で前記データ・ストリームからの情報(I2)を表示し、ここで、この情報(I2)は表示の継続期間の間のみランダム・アクセス・メモリに保存される、手段とを有する、
ことを特徴とする装置を提供する。
・ネットワークに接続する手段と;
・前記ネットワークを通じてデータを受信する手段と;
・電波リンクを通じて要求を受信する手段とを有しており、
当該ベースが:
・前記ネットワークを通じて受信される情報の更新を検出する手段と;
・前記ネットワークを通じて受信されるデータの更新の検出の場合、いかなる要求を受信することもなく、前記電波リンクを通じてデータを送信する手段と;
・前記電波リンクを通じた要求の受信に際して、前記電波リンクを通じてデータを送信する手段とを有する、
ことを特徴とするベースにも関係する。
・可搬装置EP;該可搬装置EPは無線リンクを介して下記のアクセス・ポイントPAに接続されている;
・アクセス・ポイントPA;これ自身はネットワーク接続(たとえば、ローカル・ネットワークのためのイーサネット(登録商標)またはインターネットのためのADSL)を介して下記のリモート・コンテンツ・サーバーに接続されている;
・リモート・コンテンツ・サーバーSDnの組。
・入出力周辺機器の組:ディスプレイ、キーボード、スピーカー、
・プロセッサ(図示せず)、
・当該装置の動作を保証するコードおよびソフトウェア・データを含む不揮発性メモリ、
・時間的に「可変」なデータを含む揮発性メモリ(RAM)、
・無線データ・リンク(電話の場合、声サポートのはたらきをすることができる)、
・当該装置の電源を保証する蓄電池ブロック。
・スタンバイ:スタンバイ・モードでの表示モデルMAVを介して、コンテンツは自動的にかつ逐次的に表示される。この方法のおかげで、端末は、スタンバイ・モードにあるにもかかわらず、ネットワークから得られたコンテンツを表示し続けるが、エネルギーを消費する電波活動は巻き込まない。
・アクティブ:ユーザーが特定のコンテンツについてさらなる情報を要求する。新しいコンテンツはアクティブ・モードの表示モデルMAAを介して表示される。
リモート・サーバー・コンテンツ⇒MAV構成的要素→MAA構成的要素
情報⇒タイトル→タイトル詳細
天気⇒現在条件→数日間の予報
交通ニュース⇒一般的状況→詳細なマッピング、状態についての詳細
電子的および声によるメッセージ交換サービス⇒読まれた、読まれないメッセージの数→メッセージの詳細。
・より強力な蓄電池を介して電気的な自立性を増すことにより、製品の大きさおよび/または費用を大幅に引き上げる、
・より多くのストリームを保存するためにメモリ・サイズを大きくする:ランダム・アクセス・メモリは高価なコンポーネントなので、大きな価格上昇である、
・異なるコンテンツを逐次的かつ自動的に表示する可能性をなくす:製品の価値の低下、
のいずれかであろう。
・天気:温度および湿度に関連付けられた絵記号(たとえばRSSストリーム)、
・ニュース:バナーの形での見出しの表示(たとえばRSSストリーム)、
・道路交通:マッピング(たとえばWAPサイト)。
Claims (7)
- ディスプレイ画面およびランダム・アクセス・メモリを具備する可搬通信装置であって:
電波リンクを通じてアクセス・ポイントからデータ・ストリームの第一の情報を受信して、ユーザーの要求なしに、前記ディスプレイ画面上で前記第一の情報を自動的に表示する手段であって、前記第一の情報は表示の継続期間後も前記ランダム・アクセス・メモリに保存される、手段と;
・ユーザーの要求に際して、前記アクセス・ポイントから前記データ・ストリームの第二の情報を受信して、前記ディスプレイ画面上で前記第二の情報を表示する手段であって、前記第二の情報は表示の継続期間の間のみ前記ランダム・アクセス・メモリに保存される、手段とを有する、
ことを特徴とする装置。 - ユーザーの要求なしに、前記ディスプレイ画面上で前記ランダム・アクセス・メモリ内のデータ・ストリームの情報を逐次的に表示する手段を有することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の可搬通信装置。
- ユーザーの要求なしに、前記ディスプレイ画面上で、前記ランダム・アクセス・メモリ内のデータ・ストリームの情報を、分割された画面上に並行して表示する手段を有することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の可搬通信装置。
- 電波リンクから受信されるデータ・ストリームは所定のテキストおよびグラフィック要素に従ってフォーマットされることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし3のうちいずれか一項記載の可搬通信装置。
- 電波リンクから受信されるデータ・ストリームは、所定のテキストおよびグラフィック要素からなる二つのモデル、すなわちユーザーの要求なしでの情報の表示のための第一のモデルおよびユーザー要求に際しての情報の表示のための第二のモデルに従ってフォーマットされることを特徴とする、請求項4記載の可搬通信装置。
- 可搬通信装置と通信するよう適応されたベースであって:
・ネットワークに接続する手段と;
・前記ネットワークを通じてサーバーからデータを受信する手段と;
・電波リンクを通じて可搬通信装置から要求を受信する手段とを有しており、
当該ベースが:
・前記ネットワークを通じて受信される情報の更新を検出する手段と;
・前記ネットワークを通じて受信される前記データの更新の検出の場合、いかなる要求を受信することもなく、前記電波リンクを通じて前記データの第一の部分を送信する手段と;
・前記電波リンクを通じた要求の受信に際して、前記電波リンクを通じて前記データの第二の部分を送信する手段と;
・前記ネットワークを通じて受信されたデータを、所定のテキストおよびグラフィック要素を使ってフォーマットする手段とを有する、
ことを特徴とするベース。 - 前記ネットワークから受信されたデータ・ストリームをフォーマットする手段を有することを特徴とする、請求項6記載の可搬通信装置と通信するよう適応されたベース。
