Claims (5)
- ケーシング内に配置されつつモータ(1,8)によって駆動されるセル式ロータ(2)を備えたプレッシャーウェーブスーパーチャージャであって、前記モータ(1,8)がロータ部(6,9)とステータ部(7,11)を備え、これらロータ部(6,9)とステータ部(7,11)が互いに対して軸受(4,5,13,14)を介して支持されており、前記セル式ロータ(2)も前記軸受(4,5,13,14)を介して前記ケーシングに対して支持されている前記プレッシャーウェーブスーパーチャージャーにおいて、
前記モータ(8)を外部ロータ式に形成し、かつ、前記ステータ部(11)を前記ケーシングに結合された前記モータにおける軸受ジャーナル(12)上に配置するとともに、前記ロータ部(6,9)を前記セル式ロータ(2)に結合させたことを特徴とするプレッシャーウェーブスーパーチャージャー。 - 前記モータ(8)を前記セル式ロータ(2)内に配置したことを特徴とする請求項1記載のプレッシャーウェーブスーパーチャージャー。
- 前記軸受ジャーナル(12)を中空に形成するとともに、該軸受ジャーナル(12)内に冷却媒体供給部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のプレッシャーウェーブスーパーチャージャー。
- 導入される冷気の圧力レベルを該冷気の前記セル式ロータ(2)への供給前に高める軸流圧縮機を前記セル式ロータの軸(3)に設けたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のプレッシャーウェーブスーパーチャージャー。
- 前記軸流圧縮機を、冷気流通方向に見た前記モータ(1)の前方に配置したことを特徴とする請求項4記載のプレッシャーウェーブスーパーチャージャー。
