Claims (6)
- 金属線材の伸線工程中に線材表面に生じたスケールの除去方法において、
高圧の液体を噴射する混合ノズルにより、液体中に研掃剤を混ぜたスラリーを高圧流体に乗せ、前記金属線材表面に向けて噴射し、前記研掃剤として、粒径約40μm〜約800μmの球状微粒子であって、球状ジルコンビーズ、球状ジルコニアビーズ、又は球状ステンレスビーズを使用し、この高圧噴射された液体中の前記研掃剤を前記金属線材表面のスケールに衝突させ、前記スケールを除去することを特徴とする金属線材のスケール除去方法。 - 前記研掃剤を混ぜた液体は、水に水溶性切削油を混合した液体であり、この液体中で前記研掃剤を混ぜた高圧水を前記金属線材表面に向けて噴射することを特徴とする請求項1の金属線材のスケール除去方法。
- 金属線材の伸線工程中に載置され、前記金属線表面に生じたスケールを除去する金属線材のスケール除去装置において、
前記金属線材が内部を通過する液体収容槽を設け、前記液体収容槽中を前記金属線材が通過可能に設けられ、前記金属線材に向けて高圧の液体を噴射する混合ノズルと、この混合ノズルへ高圧の液体を供給する高圧ポンプと、液体中に研掃剤を混ぜたスラリーを前記混合ノズルに供給するスラリー供給装置とを備え、前記混合ノズルにより前記高圧の液体に前記研掃剤のスラリーを乗せて噴射し、前記金属線材表面のスケールに前記研掃剤を衝突させて除去することを特徴とする金属線材のスケール除去装置。 - 前記研掃剤が混ざった前記液体を回収して前記液体と前記研掃剤を分離するセパレータを設け、前記セパレータから前記スラリー状の研掃剤を前記混合ノズルに供給するとともに、前記セパレータから前記液体成分を回収しさらに前記研掃剤を分離する分離回収装置を備えた請求項3記載の金属線材のスケール除去装置。
- 前記分離回収装置は、前記研掃剤が混ざった前記液体中の前記除去したスケールを分離回収するスケール分離装置を備えた請求項4記載の金属線材のスケール除去装置。
- 前記分離回収装置は、前記研掃剤が混ざった前記液体中の前記研掃剤を分離するフィルタを備え、前記研掃剤及び前記スケールを除いた前記液体を前記高圧ポンプへ供給する請求項5記載の金属線材のスケール除去装置。
