Description
本願は、全体の内容が本明細書に援用される2006年5月31日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/803,576号に対する優先権を主張する。
翼58のピッチは、翼58によってその半径方向の長さに沿って発生される静圧の量を概ね決定する特性である。上記の式から明らかであるように、ピッチは次元量であり、一片の木材にねじ込まれるねじに似た、固体の媒体の中で回転する場合に、半径「r」の特定の翼の断面によって軸の1回転で理論的に移動される軸方向の距離として視覚化される。
Claims (20)
- 中心軸を中心に回転するように構成されたハブと、
前記ハブから半径方向外向きに延在し、前記中心軸の回りに配置された複数の翼において、前記翼のそれぞれが、
基部、
先端部、
前記基部と前記先端部との間の前縁、
および前記基部と前記先端部との間の後縁を含む複数の翼とを備える軸流ファンであって、
前記翼のそれぞれが、前記翼の先端部と前記中心軸との間に翼半径を規定し、
前記翼のそれぞれが、前記翼半径の外側20%内において、減少するスキュー角を規定し、
翼ピッチ対平均翼ピッチの比が、半径方向に、前記翼半径の外側20%内における最低値から前記翼半径の外側20%内における最高値まで増加し、
前記最高値が前記最低値よりも約30%から約75%大きい軸流ファン。 - 前記翼ピッチ対平均翼ピッチの比が、前記翼半径の外側10%内における最低値から前記翼半径の外側10%内における最高値まで増加し、前記翼半径の外側10%内における前記最高値が、前記翼半径の外側10%内における前記最低値よりも約20%から約60%大きい、請求項1に記載の軸流ファン。
- 前記翼の前記スキュー角が、前記翼半径の外側20%にわたって連続的に減少する、請求項1に記載の軸流ファン。
- 前記翼のそれぞれが、前記翼半径の外側20%内において、増加する傾斜を規定する、請求項1に記載の軸流ファン。
- 前記傾斜が、前記翼半径の外側20%にわたって連続的に増加する、請求項4に記載の軸流ファン。
- 無次元の翼傾斜を翼傾斜対最大翼直径の比として規定し、前記翼半径の外側20%にわたる無次元の半径に対する前記無次元の翼傾斜の変化率が、約0.08から約0.18である、請求項4に記載の軸流ファン。
- 囲い板と、
前記囲い板に連結された原動機において、中心軸を中心に回転可能な出力軸を含む原動機と、
前記中心軸を中心に回転するように前記出力軸に連結されたハブ、
ならびに前記ハブから半径方向外向きに延在し、前記中心軸の回りに配置された複数の翼において、前記翼のそれぞれが、
基部、
先端部、
前記基部と前記先端部との間の前縁、
および前記基部と前記先端部との間の後縁を含む複数の翼を含む軸流ファンとを備える軸流ファン組立体であって、
前記翼のそれぞれが、前記翼の先端部と前記中心軸との間に翼半径を規定し、
前記翼のそれぞれが、前記翼半径の外側20%内において、減少するスキュー角を規定し、
翼ピッチ対平均翼ピッチの比が、半径方向に、前記翼半径の外側20%内における最低値から前記翼半径の外側20%内における最高値まで増加し、
前記最高値が前記最低値よりも約30%から約75%大きい軸流ファン組立体。 - 前記翼ピッチ対平均翼ピッチの比が、前記翼半径の外側10%内における最低値から前記翼半径の外側10%内における最高値まで増加し、前記翼半径の外側10%内における前記最高値が、前記翼半径の外側10%内における前記最低値よりも約20%から約60%大きい、請求項7に記載の軸流ファン組立体。
- 前記翼の前記スキュー角が、前記翼半径の外側20%にわたって連続的に減少する、請求項7に記載の軸流ファン組立体。
- 前記翼のそれぞれが、前記翼半径の外側20%内において、増加する傾斜を規定する、請求項7に記載の軸流ファン組立体。
- 前記傾斜が、前記翼半径の外側20%にわたって連続的に増加する、請求項10に記載の軸流ファン組立体。
- 無次元の翼傾斜を翼傾斜対最大翼直径の比として規定し、前記翼半径の外側20%にわたる無次元の半径に対する前記無次元の翼傾斜の変化率が、約0.08から約0.18である、請求項10に記載の軸流ファン組立体。
- 前記ファンが、前記翼の前記先端部に連結された実質的に円形の帯部を含み、前記囲い板が、前記中心軸に芯合わせされた実質的に環形の出口鐘状部を含む、請求項7に記載の軸流ファン組立体。
- 前記帯部から半径方向外向きに配置され、前記出口鐘状部に隣接する複数の漏れ固定子をさらに備え、前記漏れ固定子が前記中心軸の回りに配置された、請求項13に記載の軸流ファン組立体。
- 前記出口鐘状部が、半径方向最も内側の表面と、半径方向最も外側の表面と、前記半径方向最も内側の表面に隣接する端面とを含み、前記漏れ固定子が、前記半径方向最も内側の表面と前記半径方向最も外側の表面との間に配置され、前記帯部が、軸方向に延在する半径方向最も内側の表面と、軸方向に延在する半径方向最も外側の表面と、前記軸方向に延在する半径方向最も内側の表面および前記軸方向に延在する半径方向最も外側の表面に隣接する端面とを含み、前記帯部および前記出口鐘状部のそれぞれの端面が、軸方向の間隙だけ間隔を置かれ、最大翼直径に対する前記軸方向の間隙の比が、約0から約0.01であり、前記帯部の前記軸方向に延在する半径方向最も外側の表面が、半径方向の間隙だけ、前記出口鐘状部の前記半径方向最も内側の表面の径方向内向きに間隔を置かれ、前記最大翼直径に対する前記半径方向の間隙の比が、約0.01から約0.02である、請求項14に記載の軸流ファン組立体。
- 前記出口鐘状部が、半径方向最も内側の表面と、半径方向最も外側の表面と、前記半径方向最も内側の表面に隣接する端面とを含み、前記漏れ固定子が、前記半径方向最も内側の表面と前記半径方向最も外側の表面との間に配置され、前記帯部が、軸方向に延在する半径方向最も内側の表面と、軸方向に延在する半径方向最も外側の表面と、前記軸方向に延在する半径方向最も内側の表面および前記軸方向に延在する半径方向最も外側の表面に隣接する端面とを含み、前記帯部の前記軸方向に延在する半径方向最も外側の表面が、半径方向の間隙だけ、前記外側鐘状部の前記半径方向最も内側の表面の半径方向外向きに間隔を置かれ、最大翼直径に対する前記半径方向の間隙の比が、約0から約0.01であり、前記帯部および前記出口鐘状部のそれぞれの前記端面が、軸方向の間隙だけ間隔を置かれ、前記最大翼直径に対する前記軸方向の間隙の比が約0.01から約0.025である、請求項14に記載の軸流ファン組立体。
- 前記翼ピッチ対平均翼ピッチの比が、前記翼半径の外側20%内において減少しない、請求項1に記載の軸流ファン。
- 前記翼ピッチ対平均翼ピッチの比が、前記翼半径の外側20%内において減少しない、請求項7に記載の軸流ファン。
