Claims (10)
- 動作中に流れ媒体が流れる一つの機械的に閉じたループを形成する検出管を有する質量流量計であって、該検出管がフレームに取り付けられていると共に動作中に該ループ状の検出管を振動させる電磁励起手段を有し、検出管が可撓な流入管と可撓な流出管に接続され、該検出管が該検出管を含む面に位置する上記可撓な流入管と可撓な流出管によりフレームに対し弾性的に変位可能に懸吊されているコリオリ型質量流量計において、
ループ状の検出管は該検出管を含む面での対称軸線Sを有し、該対称軸線Sが上記流入管と流出管の両管の間で該両管に平行に延びていて、該流入管と流出管によるフレームからの上記検出管の懸吊が、対称軸線Sまわりと該対称軸線Sに対して直角な検出管を含む面に位置する応答軸線S’まわりの動きを許容していること、
電磁励起手段は非接触でループ状の検出管を対称軸線Sまわりに振動するように励起してコリオリ応答動が応答軸線S’まわりになされること、
流量計が、さらに、時間の関数で検出管の管部に位置する二つの点のフレームに対する変位をそれぞれ検出する二つのセンサを有していて、この二つのセンサが対称軸線Sに関して対称位置でフレームに取り付けられ、該対称軸線Sと上記管部との交点近傍に位置していること、
を特徴とする質量流量計。 - 可撓な流入管と可撓な流出管はループ状の検出管のループ内に位置していることとする請求項1に記載の質量流量計。
- 流入管と流出管は、予め設定した長さで自由路長を決める位置となる、流入管と流出管が検出管の端部へ接続される接続点から設定長さだけ離れた点で、フレームに取り付けられていることとする請求項2に記載の質量流量計。
- 検出管は、二つの平行な側管部と、これらの二つの側管部の第一端に接続された第一連絡管部と、側管部の第二端に一端側で接続されかつ流入管と流出管に他端で接続された二つの第二連絡管部とを有して、矩形状をなしていることとする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の質量流量計。
- 流入管と流出管がループ状の検出管を含む面内で延びていて、検出管のループの対称軸線の両側で互いに近接しあるいは接しており、又、上記流入管と流出管が第二連絡管部よりも第一連絡管部に近い位置でフレームに取り付けられていることとする請求項4に記載の質量流量計。
- 流入管と流出管の自由路長が該流入管と流出管に平行な方向で見たときのループ状の検出管の長さの少なくとも50%の長さとなっていることとする請求項3に記載の質量流量計。
- 流入管と流出管の自由路長が各側管部の長さの少なくとも50%の長さであることとする請求項4に記載の質量流量計。
- 非接触の電磁励起手段は、検出管の管壁内にAC電流を発生するための手段、そして検出管内のAC電流方向を横切る磁界を発生するマグネット手段とを有し、該マグネット手段が、二つの空隙に検出管のそれぞれの対応管部が通っている該空隙をもつ永久磁石マグネットヨークを有し、反対方向を向く磁界が上記空隙に生じていて、磁界が管内のAC電流と協働して、検出管にローレンツ力を生じさせるようになっていることとする請求項1に記載の質量流量計。
- マグネットヨークが空隙同士間に中央開口部があること、センサがこの開口部に配設されていることとする請求項8に記載の質量流量計。
- 検出管が矩形状ループをなし、マグネットヨークが矩形状ループの一方の側に配され、反対側となる他方の側にセンサが配されていることとする請求項8に記載の質量流量計。
