Description
Claims (5)
- 炭素原子1個からなる極微粒子、或いは炭素原子が2乃至10個の鎖状に結合した状態の極微粒子が原子間引力により互いに不規則に集合して非晶質の塊状を呈する原子状炭素材料。
- 請求項1に記載された塊状を呈する原子状炭素材料を450℃以下の温度に保って粉砕することにより形成した極微粒の原子状炭素材料。
- 炭素単体を含まない共有結合している有機物からなる原材料を不活性雰囲気下の気密室に投入し、
第1段階として、原材料を100℃〜150℃に温度を保って、水分を充分に気化させ、気化した水分(水蒸気)を気密室外に排出し、
これと同時に、排出した水蒸気と同量の不活性ガスを気密室に注入して常に気密室内を気密な不活性雰囲気にし、
更に、完全乾燥状態になった原材料を加熱し、350℃〜450℃まで順次上昇させ原料に含まれる成分の熱分解を行い、前記雰囲気中及び有機物中の炭素以外の所期成分を、450℃以下の温度において分解温度の低いものから順次熱分解させて炭素との結合を個別的に遊離させるとともに、その都度不活性雰囲気を保ったままの状態で雰囲気外に排除し、
更に得られた塊状の原子状炭素を不活性雰囲気に保ったままの状態で所定の容器に密封することを特徴とする原子状炭素材料の製造方法。 - 請求項3に記載の原子状炭素材料の製造方法において、容器の密封状態で収容する前の工程で450℃以下の不活性雰囲気において極微粒径に粉砕することを特徴とする原子状炭素材料の製造方法。
- 前記原材料が木質または竹材である請求項3記載の原子状炭素材料の製造方法。
