Claims (20)
- 光を発する少なくとも一つの点光源と電源と接続して前記点光源を発光させるための駆動電圧を前記点光源に伝達する電源印加線とを含む光発生装置と、
前記光発生装置を収納し、前記電源印加線が形成された収納容器と、
を含むことを特徴とするバックライトアセンブリ。 - 前記収納容器は収納空間を画定する底板と前記底板の端部から突出した側壁とを含み、前記電源印加線は前記底板上に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 前記光発生装置は、複数の前記点光源を含み、前記収納容器の前記底板と前記光発生装置の前記電源印加線との間に配置され、前記点光源を互いに電気的に絶縁させる絶縁層を含むことを特徴とする請求項2記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 前記点光源と前記収納容器の底板との間に配置され、前記点光源で発生した熱を外部に伝達するための熱伝達部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項3記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 前記熱伝達部材は、前記点光源を前記収納容器の前記底板に固定させることを特徴とする請求項4記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 前記点光源に対応する位置にある前記絶縁層の一部は除去され、前記熱伝達部材は前記絶縁層が除去された部分に形成されることを特徴とする請求項4記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 前記熱伝達部材は、熱伝導性接着剤及びはんだのうちいずれか一つからなることを特徴とする請求項4記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 前記熱伝達部材は、前記収納容器の前記底板と一体に形成され、前記底板から突出されることを特徴とする請求項4記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 前記熱伝達部材と前記点光源との間に配置され、前記熱伝達部材と前記点光源とを接着させるための接着部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項8記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 前記点光源は、光を発する発光ダイオードチップと、
前記発光ダイオードチップに電源を印加するために前記電源印加線に電気的に接続された第1電極及び第2電極と、
前記発光ダイオードチップをカバーしてカプセル化するためのカプセル化層と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のバックライトアセンブリ。 - 光を発する少なくとも一つの点光源を含む光発生装置と、
底板及び側壁を具備し、前記底板及び前記側壁によって画定された収納空間に前記光発生装置を収納する収納容器と、
を含み、
前記光発生装置の前記点光源は前記収納容器の前記底板に実装されることを特徴とするバックライトアセンブリ。 - 前記光発生装置は電源と接続して前記点光源を発光させるための駆動電圧を前記点光源に伝達する電源印加線をさらに含み、前記電源印加線は前記収納容器の前記底板上に形成されることを特徴とする請求項11記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 前記光発生装置は複数の前記点光源を含み、前記収納容器の前記底板と前記光発生装置の前記電源印加線との間に配置され、前記点光源を互いに電気的に絶縁させる絶縁層を含むことを特徴とする請求項11記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 前記点光源と前記収納容器の前記底板との間に位置して前記点光源を前記収納容器の前記底板に固定させ、前記点光源で発生した熱を外部に伝達するための熱伝達部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項11記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 底板及び側壁を具備し、前記底板及び前記側壁によって画定された収納空間を有する収納容器を形成し、
前記収納容器の前記底板上に絶縁層を形成し、
前記絶縁層上に導電パターンを形成し、
前記導電パターンが形成された前記収納容器の前記底板に前記導電パターンと電気的に接続されるように点光源を実装すること、
を含むことを特徴とするバックライトアセンブリの製造方法。 - 前記絶縁層は絶縁物質をコーティングする方法及び絶縁薄片をラミネートする方法のうちいずれか一つによって形成され、前記絶縁層は前記収納容器の前記底板全体に形成されることを特徴とする請求項15記載のバックライトアセンブリの製造方法。
- 前記絶縁層及び前記導電パターンのうち少なくとも一つはプリンティング技法によって形成されることを特徴とする請求項15記載のバックライトアセンブリの製造方法。
- 前記絶縁層の形成は、
第1モータを用いて前記収納容器を移送し、
前記第1モータより高い分解能を有する第2モータを用いてプリンタヘッドを移送し、
前記プリンタヘッドから絶縁物質を噴射すること、を含むことを特徴とする請求項17記載のバックライトアセンブリの製造方法。 - 前記導電パターンの形成は、
第1モータを用いて前記収納容器を移送し、
前記第1モータより高い分解能を有する第2モータを用いてプリンタヘッドを移送し、
前記プリンタヘッドから導電性物質を噴射すること、を含むことを特徴とする請求項17記載のバックライトアセンブリの製造方法。 - 光を用いて画像を表示する表示ユニットと、
前記表示ユニットに前記光を供給するバックライトアセンブリと、を含み、
前記バックライトアセンブリは、
光を発する少なくとも一つの点光源及び電源と接続して前記点光源を発光させるための駆動電圧を前記点光源に伝達する電源印加線を含む光発生装置と、
前記光発生装置を収納し、前記電源印加線が形成された収納容器と、
を含むことを特徴とする表示装置。
