Description
Claims (3)
- 1台又は複数台のコンピュータにより少なくともその一部が実行される多階調中間調スクリーン生成方法であって、
タイルを定義するタイル定義データを受け取るステップと、
少なくともそのデータに基づきタイルを生成するステップと、
そのタイルに含まれる複数のスクリーンドット核であって、中間調スクリーンを構成する複数枚のプレーンにおいて、どのプレーンでも同一又はほぼ同一の位置にあるか、又は、スクリーンドット核分布がランダムになるように複数個のスクリーンドット核の配置を調整するステップと、
各プレーンにて各スクリーンドット核を取り囲んでいる周辺領域を画素濃度値が低いプレーンから高いプレーンへと進むにつれてサイズが大きくなるように成長させることにより、中間調スクリーンを組成する複数枚のプレーンを生成するステップと、
を有する多階調中間調スクリーン生成方法。 - 請求項1記載の多階調中間調スクリーン生成方法であって、
上記成長ステップにて生成した複数枚のプレーンを高解像度で離散化することにより、離散化後のスクリーンドット核に係る印刷濃度値及び周辺領域における印刷濃度値を導出するステップと、
離散化の後スクリーンドット核に係る印刷濃度値を平均化するステップと、
を有し、多階調印刷機における印刷濃度がスクリーンドット核に一通り割り振られ且つスクリーンドット周辺領域に一通り又は複数通り割り振られた多階調中間調スクリーンを生成する多階調中間調スクリーン生成方法。 - 請求項1記載の多階調中間調スクリーン生成方法であって、
二種類目のタイルを定義する第2のタイル定義データを特定するステップと、
少なくともそのデータに基づきタイルを生成するステップと、
そのタイルに含まれる複数個のスクリーンドット核であって、中間調スクリーンを構成する複数枚のプレーンにおいて、どのプレーンでも同一又はほぼ同一の位置にあるか、又は、スクリーンドット核分布がランダムになるように複数個のスクリーンドット核の配置を調整するステップと、
各プレーンにて各スクリーンドット核を取り囲んでいる周辺領域を画素濃度値が低いプレーンから高いプレーンへと進むにつれてサイズが大きくなるように成長させることにより、中間調スクリーンを組成する複数枚のプレーンをもう一組生成するステップと、
生成した複数組のプレーンを仮想的にマージしそれらが積み重なった中間調スクリーンを組成するステップと、
を有する多階調中間調スクリーン生成方法。
