Claims (10)
- 物品(10)に皮膜を設ける方法であって、
ケイ素含有基材(30)を準備する段階と、
前記基材(30)の上に、クロム、タンタル、チタン、タングステン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム及び希土類のケイ化物並びにこれらの親和性のある組合せからなる群から選択される金属ケイ化物を含むボンドコート層(42)を設ける段階と、
任意には、ボンドコート層(42)の上にシリカスケール層(58)を設ける段階と、
前記ボンドコート層(42)又はシリカスケール層(58)の上に、反応生成耐食性金属ケイ酸塩層(66)を含む雰囲気バリアコーティング(50)を形成する段階であって、前記金属ケイ酸塩が、ケイ酸イットリウム、ケイ酸スカンジウム、ケイ酸ジルコニウム、ケイ酸ハフニウム、希土類金属ケイ酸塩又はこれらの組合せからなる群から選択されるものであり、反応生成耐食性金属ケイ酸塩のケイ素源が、シリカスケール層(58)が存在する場合にはシリカスケール層(58)であり、シリカスケール層(58)が存在しない場合にはケイ化物含有ボンドコート層(42)である、雰囲気バリアコーティング(50)を設ける段階と
を含む方法。 - 前記ボンドコート層(42)が1537℃以上の融点を有する金属ケイ化物を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記金属ケイ化物が1648℃以上の融点を有する、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記金属ケイ化物が、三ケイ化チタン、三ケイ化クロム、二ケイ化ハフニウム、三ケイ化タンタル、二ケイ化タンタル、二ケイ化タングステン、二ケイ化ジルコニウム、二ケイ化ガドリニウム、二ケイ化ランタン、ケイ化ネオジム、三ケイ化イッテルビウム及びこれらの親和性のある組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記ボンドコート層(42)が基材(30)に隣接していて、13〜254μmの厚さを有する、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記基材(30)が、ケイ素含有セラミック材料、ケイ素金属合金又はこれらの組合せを含む、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記物品(10)がタービン部品(12)である、請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記反応生成耐食性金属ケイ酸塩層(66)が最大127ミクロンまでの厚さを有する、請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記反応生成耐食性金属ケイ酸塩層(66)が金属供給源と前記ケイ素源の反応により形成される、請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記雰囲気バリアコーティング(50)を形成する段階が、前記反応生成耐食性金属ケイ酸塩層(66)の上にさらに遮熱コーティング(78)を形成することを含む、請求項1乃至請求項9のいずれか1項記載の方法。
