Description
図1は、本発明の一実施の形態におけるパネル10の構造を示す分解斜視図である。ガラス製の前面基板21上には、走査電極22と維持電極23とからなる表示電極対24が複数形成されている。そして走査電極22と維持電極23とを覆うように誘電体層25が形成され、その誘電体層25上に保護層26が形成されている。背面基板31上にはデータ電極32が複数形成され、データ電極32を覆うように誘電体層33が形成され、さらにその上に井桁状の隔壁34が形成されている。そして、隔壁34の側面および誘電体層33上には赤色、緑色および青色の各色に発光する蛍光体層35が設けられている。

Claims (1)
- 複数の走査電極および複数の維持電極を有するプラズマディスプレイパネルと、
複数の前記走査電極を第1の走査電極群と第2の走査電極群とに分割し前記第1の走査電極群および前記第2の走査電極群に属する前記走査電極のそれぞれに印加する駆動電圧を出力する走査電極駆動回路と、
前記走査電極駆動回路が出力する駆動電圧を入力して前記走査電極のそれぞれに順次印加する複数の走査電極駆動ICと、
複数の前記走査電極駆動ICが駆動電圧を出力する順番をあらかじめ定められた順番で切換えるための切換え信号を発生するタイミング発生回路と、
複数の前記走査電極駆動ICを搭載した第1のプリント基板および第2のプリント基板と、前記走査電極駆動回路と前記タイミング発生回路を搭載する第3のプリント基板とを備え、前記第1のプリント基板と前記第3のプリント基板は第1のフレキシブル配線板で電気的に接続し、前記第2のプリント基板と前記第3のプリント基板は第2のフレキシブル配線板で電気的に接続し、前記第1のプリント基板の接地電位と前記第2のプリント基板の接地電位とを第3のフレキシブル配線板によって電気的に接続するとともに、
前記走査電極駆動回路は、前記第1のフレキシブル配線板を通して前記第1のプリント基板の走査電極駆動ICに駆動電圧を出力するとともに、前記第2のフレキシブル配線板を通して前記第2のプリント基板の走査電極駆動ICに駆動電圧を出力し、
前記タイミング発生回路は、前記第1のフレキシブル配線板を通して前記第1のプリント基板の走査電極駆動ICに前記切換え信号を出力するとともに、前記第1のフレキシブル配線板および前記第3のフレキシブル配線板を介して前記第2のプリント基板の走査電極駆動ICに前記切換え信号を出力するように構成したことを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイ装置。
