Description
図1は、実施の形態に係る電動機の過温度保護装置を含む鉄道車両駆動システムの主要部の構成を示す図である。本実施の形態に係る鉄道車両駆動システムは、図示のように、インバータ装置10、電動機12a,12b、制御装置14および、保護装置20を備えて構成される。

Claims (5)
- 1台または複数台のインバータ装置を用いて複数台の電動機を並列運転する鉄道車両駆動システムに適用可能な電動機の過温度保護装置であって、
前記インバータ装置の動作を制御する制御装置と、
前記インバータ装置が前記電動機に対し電圧と周波数の比を一定にする制御を行っているときの周波数の情報と、前記各電動機に流れる少なくとも一つの相の電流を検出し、前記周波数の情報が規定値よりも低いか否かの判定結果と、前記複数台の電動機のうちの所定の2台の電動機に流れる電流検出値の差電流が規定値よりも大きいか否かの判定結果に基づいて、前記電動機を過温度から保護するための過温度保護信号を生成して前記制御装置に出力する保護装置と、
を備えたことを特徴とする電動機の過温度保護装置。 - 前記インバータ装置が2台の電動機を制御する構成の場合、
前記保護装置は、
前記周波数が規定値よりも低い場合に、前記2台の電動機に流れる電流検出値の差電流を演算する差電流演算部と、
前記差電流が規定値よりも大きい場合に、前記2台の電動機のうちの何れかが過温度に達する可能性があると判定して前記過温度保護信号を生成する過温度保護信号生成部と、
を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動機の過温度保護装置。 - 前記インバータ装置が2台の電動機を制御する構成の場合、
前記保護装置は、
前記2台の電動機に流れる電流検出値の差電流を演算する差電流演算部と、
前記差電流が規定値よりも大きく、且つ、前記周波数が規定値よりも低い場合に、前記2台の電動機のうちの何れかが過温度に達する可能性があると判定して前記過温度保護信号を生成する過温度保護信号生成部と、
を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動機の過温度保護装置。 - 前記インバータ装置がN台(Nは3以上の整数)の電動機を制御する構成の場合、
前記保護装置は、
前記周波数が規定値よりも低い場合に、前記N台の電動機に流れる各電流検出値のうちの少なくとも一つが含まれるN−1個の差電流を演算する差電流演算部と、
前記N−1個の差電流のうちの少なくとも一つが規定値よりも大きい場合に、前記N台の電動機により構成される電動機群に過温度が生じ得ると判定して前記過温度保護信号を生成する過温度保護信号生成部と、
を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動機の過温度保護装置。 - 前記インバータ装置がN台(Nは3以上の整数)の電動機を制御する構成の場合、
前記保護装置は、
前記N台の電動機に流れる各電流検出値のうちの少なくとも一つが含まれるN−1個の差電流を演算する差電流演算部と、
前記N−1個の差電流のうちの少なくとも一つが規定値よりも大きく、且つ、前記周波数が規定値よりも低い場合に、前記N台の電動機により構成される電動機群に過温度が生じ得ると判定して前記過温度保護信号を生成する過温度保護信号生成部と、
を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動機の過温度保護装置。
