Claims (7)
- 面光源の発光面を覆う入射面と、該入射面に対向する位置に配置される反射面と、該反射面の周縁に接続する出射面と、を備えた光学素子であって、
該発光面の中心を点Oとし、点Oを通り該発光面に垂直な軸を該光学素子の光軸として、該光学素子の該反射面は、周縁に対して該光軸付近が窪んだ形状を有し、該光軸を含み、該発光面に垂直な該光学素子の任意の断面において、該反射面は、80%以上の領域で、点Oから放射された光が反射され、該入射面が該発光面を含む第1の面と交わる点Pにおける該入射面の法線の、第1の面に対する傾きをθp、点Pと該反射面及び該出射面が交わる点とを結ぶ直線の、第1の面に対する傾きをω、該光学素子の材料の屈折率をnとしたときに、以下の式を満たすように、該入射面の第1の面に対する傾きを定めた光学素子。
- 前記出射面は、前記光軸からの距離が、第1の面からの距離にしたがって増加するように構成され、前記光軸を含み、前記発光面に垂直な前記光学素子の任意の断面において、前記出射面が外側に凹である曲線によって表される請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の光学素子。
- 前記反射面と前記光軸との交点を含む領域に反射部材を備えた請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の光学素子。
- 面光源と、該面光源に使用される請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の光学素子と、を備え、該光学素子の出射面から出射した光を前方に反射するように構成された照明ユニット。
