Description
物理的吸着法は、多くの場合、メルカプタンを低濃度まで除去することが困難であるという欠点を有する。一般に大型反応器では、所望の低濃度を達成する必要がある。
(a)メルカプタンと、周期表のヘリウム族、窒素及び炭化水素質ガスから選ばれたガス80%以上とを含み、CO 2 の濃度が8容量%未満である第一ガス流を水素の存在下、水素化脱硫触媒と接触させて、不活性ガスを含み、メルカプタンを欠き、H2Sに富む第二ガス流を得る工程、
(b)H2S除去ユニット中で該第二ガス流からH2Sを除去して、不活性ガスを含み、メルカプタンを欠く精製ガス流を得る工程、
を含む、不活性ガスとメルカプタンとを含むガス流からメルカプタンを除去する方法を提供する。
本発明方法は、吸着剤床中のメルカプタン吸着剤の再生に使用したメルカプタン入り第一ガス流からメルカプタンを除去する比較的簡単かつ効果的な方法を提供する。
第一ガス流中に存在するメルカプタンの濃度及び種類は変化でき、第一ガス流の起原である供給源に依存する。
第一ガス流は、天然ガス又は不活性ガスとメルカプタンとを含むいかなるガス天然ガス流でもよい。
ここでガス処理ユニットとは、原料ガス流から硫黄汚染物を除去するユニットをいう。
メルカプタン吸着床にはモレキュラーシーブを使用することが好ましい。平均細孔径が5Å以上のモレキュラーシーブが好ましい。
通常、水素化脱硫ユニットの操作圧力は、10〜100バラ、好ましくは20〜80バラの範囲である。
(1)RSH+H2 → H2S+RH
(2)2N2+3H2 → 2NH3
Rはアルキル基、好ましくはメチル、エチル、n−プロピル、i−プロピル及びブチルの群から選ばれたアルキル基である。
第二ガス流はH2S除去ユニットに送られる。好適なH2S除去ユニットとしては、このガス流から効果的にH2Sを除去する手段を備えた反応器又は接触器がある。
Claims (10)
- (a)1つ以上のメルカプタン吸着剤床を有するガス処理ユニットを出るガス流であって、メルカプタンと不活性ガス80%以上とを含み、CO2の濃度が8容量%未満である第一ガス流を、水素化脱硫ユニット中で水素の存在下、水素化脱硫触媒と接触させて、不活性ガスを含み、メルカプタンを欠き、H2Sに富む第二ガス流を得る工程、
(b)H2S除去ユニット中で該第二ガス流からH2Sを除去して、不活性ガスを含み、メルカプタンを欠く精製ガス流を得る工程、
を含む、不活性ガスとメルカプタンとを含むガス流からメルカプタンを除去する方法。 - 前記水素化脱硫触媒が、第VIII族水素化金属、好ましくはコバルト又はニッケルと第VIB族水素化金属、好ましくはモリブデン又はタングステンとを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水素化脱硫触媒が、触媒支持体、好ましくは耐火性酸化物支持体、更に好ましくはアルミナ又はアルミナ?シリカを含む請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記水素化脱硫ユニットの操作温度が、100〜500℃、好ましくは300〜400℃、更に好ましくは320〜380℃の範囲である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
