Description
たとえば、溶接特性(反射、IR、音等)の各々について、当該属性を表わす単一値を数学的なアルゴリズム(最大、最小、傾き、積分、その他の代数関数/解析関数等)により求め、プロットする。ここに、属性は、期間たとえば、レーザパルスの開始時点から始まる期間に対しても定義できる。比較を容易にするため、すべての属性を同じグラフ上に表わすようにするとよい。たとえば、図8は、焦光位置に依存する各種の属性を示すグラフである。図8からわかるように、焦光位置が焦点の合った位置から焦点の外れた位置に変わるにつれて、各種属性に変化が生じる。
本実施形態では、反射したレーザ放射線(反射信号)と赤外放射線(IR信号)は2色検出器552により取り込まれる。さらに、専用テレビ(CCTV)カメラ568を使って溶接の前後で溶接パーツの画像を取り込む。他の実施形態では、2色検出器552の代わりに、あるいはこれらに加え、他のセンサまたは検出器(たとえばモニタ用センサ、機械視覚センサ等)を使用して、レーザ溶接特性を測定するようにしてもよい。

Claims (2)
- パルスレーザ光を用いる溶接の溶接品質を評価するためのレーザ溶接モニタ装置であって、
溶接中に被溶接材の溶接表面から放射された赤外線を受光して、前記溶接表面の温度の波形を表す温度信号を生成する赤外線センサと、
前記温度信号について所定のアルゴリズムを実行して、前記温度の積分値を求める演算処理部と、
前記温度積分値を基準値と比較して、前記溶接の良否を判定する良否判定部と、
所定の初期焦点高さのまわりで溶接毎に焦点高さを変えながら実行される複数の試し溶接において各溶接毎に前記温度信号を取り込んで前記溶接表面の温度の立ち上がりの傾きを求め、前記温度の立ち上がりの傾きを最大にした焦点高さを適正な焦点高さと決定する焦点高さ調整部と
を有するレーザ溶接モニタ装置。 - パルスレーザ光を用いる溶接の溶接品質を評価するためのレーザ溶接モニタ方法であって、
溶接中に被溶接材の溶接表面から放射された赤外線を受光して、前記溶接表面の温度の波形を表す温度信号を生成する工程と、
前記温度信号について所定のアルゴリズムを実行して、前記温度の積分値を求める工程と、
前記温度積分値を基準値と比較して、前記溶接の良否を判定する工程と、
所定の初期焦点高さのまわりで溶接毎に焦点高さを変えながら実行される複数の試し溶接において各溶接毎に前記温度信号を取り込んで前記溶接表面の温度の立ち上がりの傾きを求める工程と、
前記温度の立ち上がりの傾きを最大にした焦点高さを適正な焦点高さと決定する工程と
を有するレーザ溶接モニタ方法。
