なお、これら電圧―強度対応関係データは、タイヤ空気圧検出システムの車両への搭載時に、実験によって作成されるようになっていてもよい。
(1)角度範囲または期間の最初における電圧
(2)角度範囲または期間の最後における電圧
(3)角度範囲または期間における最大電圧
(4)角度範囲または期間における最小電圧
である。規定パターン中のある範囲が、これらすべてにおいて受信パターンと一致すれば、当該範囲は、受信パターンと類似する範囲であると判定する。
(1)角度範囲または期間の最初における電圧および(3)最大電圧が1465ミリボルトであり、(2)角度範囲または期間の最後における電圧および(4)最小電圧が1380ミリボルトである。このような変化特徴を有する左後方無線送信装置13の規定パターンは、図10に示すように、180°から215.5°の範囲しかない。
以上、本発明の実施形態について説明したが、本発明の範囲は、上記実施形態のみに限定されるものではなく、本発明の各発明特定事項の機能を実現し得る種々の形態を包含するものである。

Claims (1)
- 車両の車体に搭載されると共に無線信号を受信するアンテナと、
前記車両の車輪に取り付けられた無線送信装置から前記アンテナが受信した無線信号の強度の変化が基準変化量以上であることに基づいて、前記車両が走行していると判定する判定手段と、を備え、
前記判定手段は、前記無線送信装置から受信する無線信号の強度の前記車輪の回転角度に応じた変化を示す強度−角度対応関係の情報を記憶しており、
さらに前記判定手段は、前記無線送信装置から受信した無線信号の基準期間中の強度の
時間変化の態様と、前記強度−角度対応関係とを照合することで、前記基準期間中におけ
る前記車輪の回転角度の変化量に対応する前記車両の走行速度を特定することを特徴とする車両走行判定装置。
