Claims (4)
- 二次電池と出力端子との間に直列にスイッチング回路を接続し、前記二次電池の過充電、過放電、過電流を含む異常事象を検出する信号を入力してそれぞれの異常事象に対応する所定の電圧値との比較に基づき回路遮断指示信号を出力し前記スイッチング回路をオフに制御する保護回路を備えた二次電池パックにおいて、
前記所定の電圧値と比較して前記保護回路による保護機能が正常に動作するか否かを試験するための複数の試験電圧を発生する電圧発生回路と、
前記異常事象を検出する信号と前記電圧発生回路により発生した試験電圧とのいずれかに前記保護回路の入力を切り替える切替回路と、
試験指示により前記電圧発生回路を制御して前記複数の試験電圧を順次発生させ、前記切替回路を制御して前記保護回路の入力を前記異常事象を検出する信号から前記電圧発生回路により発生した試験電圧に切り替えて前記所定の電圧値と比較し前記保護回路による保護機能が正常に動作するか否かを試験する試験制御回路と
を備えたことを特徴とする二次電池パック。 - 前記試験制御回路に対する外部機器からの回路試験指示及び前記試験制御回路から前記外部機器への回路試験結果の通知の入出力を行う入出力I/F回路を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記試験制御回路による正常/異常の回路試験結果を出力する表示手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記複数の試験電圧は、過充電の試験電圧と、過放電の試験電圧と、過電流の試験電圧であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池パック。
