Description
(1)各発熱領域に設けた温度センサ9a〜9dの作動を許可し、温度センサ9a〜9dの出力に基づきヒータ4a〜4dを点灯制御して、予熱板3の表面温度をトナー像の軟化に必要な温度範囲内で一定に保つようにする第1の点灯制御モードと、
(2)各発熱領域に設けた温度センサ9a〜9dの作動を禁止し、ヒータ4a〜4dを所定の点灯率で点灯させる第2の点灯制御モードと
を備えている。

Claims (3)
- 電子写真印刷装置を2台接続し、1台目の電子写真印刷装置で記録材の第1の面に印刷し、2台目の電子写真印刷装置で記録材の第2の面に印刷する印刷システムであって、各電子写真印刷装置は、前記記録材の走行方向および該走行方向と直交する方向において分けられた複数の発熱領域を有する予熱板と、前記各発熱領域にそれぞれ設けられた熱源と、前記各発熱領域に設けられた温度検出器と、前記各発熱領域に設けられた各熱源の点灯を制御する制御手段とを具備し、トナー像を保持した記録材を前記予熱板により加熱する印刷システムにおいて、1台目の電子写真印刷装置に設けられた前記制御手段は、前記予熱板の複数の発熱領域のうち、印刷される記録材によって覆われる発熱領域においては、温度検出器の作動を許可し、温度検出器の出力に基づいて予熱板の表面温度を一定に保つように加熱源を点灯させる第1の点灯制御モードで制御し、2台目の電子写真印刷装置に設けられた前記制御手段は、前記予熱板の複数の発熱領域のうち、印刷される記録材によって覆われる発熱領域においては、温度検出器の作動を禁止し、加熱源を所定の点灯率で点灯させる第2の点灯制御モードで制御することを特徴とする印刷システム。
- 第2の点灯制御モードにおける熱源の点灯率は、予め設定された複数の点灯率から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の印刷システム。
- 前記予熱板を、定着ローラの記録材走行方向上流側に設けた請求項1又は2に記載の印刷システム。
