Claims (3)
- 液晶表示パネルと、当該液晶表示パネルの背面に設置された直下ライト型バックライト構造体とから構成される液晶表示装置であって、
前記バックライト構造体は、
樋状の裏面プレートと枠状のモールドフレームとの間に当該裏面プレートに対向して並列に配置された複数の蛍光管と、
前記裏面プレートに取り付けられ、且つ前記蛍光管の電極部をカバーするサイドモールドフレームと、
前記裏面プレートと前記蛍光管との間、及び、前記裏面プレートと前記サイドモールドフレームとの間に敷設される反射シートと、
を備え、
前記サイドモールドフレームの端部は、前記裏面プレートの側壁部よりも外側まで延設されて形成され、且つ、前記反射シートの立ち上がり部に沿って折れ曲がる延在部を有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記延在部は、前記サイドモールドフレームと同一樹脂部材の成形体により一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記サイドモールドフレームは、前記モールドフレームの対向する二辺に沿って設置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
