Claims (6)
- 無指向性アンテナ特性とビームを形成するアダプティブアレーアンテナ特性とのアンテナ特性を切替えるアンテナ特性切替手段を含む無線基地局と、該無線基地局と端末との間を無線中継する無線中継局とを有し、前記無線基地局と前記端末との間の無線通信を行う無線通信制御方法に於いて、
前記無線基地局は、前記無線中継局を介した前記端末からの制御情報受信によって、前記アンテナ特性をアダプティブアレーアンテナ特性に切替えて前記端末に対するビームを形成し、前記無線基地局と前記端末との間の無線通信を行う過程を含む
ことを特徴とする無線通信制御方法。 - 前記無線基地局は、前記無線中継局のサービスエリア内のビームのスキャンによる前記端末の通信品質情報を、前記無線中継局を介して受信し、前記通信品質情報を基に通信品質が良くなる方向に前記ビームを向ける制御を行う過程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の無線通信制御方法。
- 前記無線基地局は、前記端末との間で無線通信するか、或は、前記端末との間で前記無線中継局を介して無線通信するかを、前記無線中継局の収容能力に応じて選択制御する過程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の無線通信制御方法。
- 前記無線中継局は、前記端末の通信品質情報が所定値以下に低下したことを検出した時に、前記無線基地局に対してハンドオーバの開始を通知する過程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の無線通信制御方法。
- 前記無線基地局の前記アダプティブアレーアンテナ特性によるビームと複数の前記無線中継局の前記アダプティブアレーアンテナ特性によるビームとにより、前記端末との間の空間分割多重通信を行う過程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の無線通信制御方法。
- 前記無線基地局と複数の前記無線中継局とを含み、前記端末と前記無線基地局との間を複数の前記無線中継局を介して無線中継通信する処理過程に於いて、前記端末がサービスエリア内に存在する前記無線中継局と前記無線基地局との間を、ビーム形成により直接的に無線通信するように切替える過程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の無線通信制御方法。
