Claims (4)
- 船底に形成された複数の空気噴出孔から気泡を発生させて船底に気泡膜を形成することにより、航行する船体の摩擦抵抗を低減する船体摩擦抵抗低減装置において、
前記複数の空気噴出孔は、前記船体の船幅方向に並んで空気噴出孔群を構成し、前記空気噴出孔群は、前記船底に複数形成されており、
前記複数の空気噴出孔群は、船幅方向中央に形成された中央空気噴出孔群と、前記中央空気噴出孔群の船幅方向の両側方に形成され、船幅方向において前記中央空気噴出孔群と重複しないように形成された一対の側方空気噴出孔群と、を有し、
船首側の前記中央空気噴出孔群は、前記一対の側方空気噴出孔群の船首側に形成され、
前記中央空気噴出孔群の船幅方向における長さは、前記一対の側方空気噴出孔群の船幅方向におけるそれぞれの長さに比して、長く形成されていることを特徴とする船体摩擦抵抗低減装置。 - 前記中央空気噴出孔群に対応する中央側エアーチャンバと、
前記各側方空気噴出孔群に対応する側方側エアーチャンバと、をさらに備え、
前記中央側エアーチャンバは、前記側方側エアーチャンバに比して多く配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の船体摩擦抵抗低減装置。 - 前記複数の空気噴出孔へ向けて空気を供給可能な空気供給源と、
前記空気供給源と前記複数の空気噴出孔とを接続する空気供給通路と、をさらに備え、
前記空気供給源は、前記船体の船首側に配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の船体摩擦抵抗低減装置。 - 前記船体の船底は平坦面に形成されており、
前記複数の空気噴出孔群は、平坦面となる前記船底に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の船体摩擦抵抗低減装置。
