Claims (3)
- 上下方向に直列に配置され、前工程から供給される石炭を貯留する上部バンカと、前記上部バンカからの石炭を貯留し、次工程に石炭を供給する下部バンカとを有する石炭バンカにおいて、前記上部バンカの下端部は前記下部バンカの上部開口部内に開口しており、前記下部バンカの前記上部開口部内には空気が存在し、貯留期間が長くなる前記下部バンカ内に貯留された石炭が自然発熱により温度上昇した際に、前記下部バンカの上壁に設けられた既設の点検口から該下部バンカ内に貯留された前記石炭の上面側に向けてドライアイスを投入し、前記下部バンカ内に貯留された石炭の上面側に前記ドライアイスの気化により生じたCO2の遮断層を形成することにより、前記石炭の自然発熱による温度上昇を抑制することを特徴とする石炭バンカ内の石炭温度上昇抑制方法。
- 前記ドライアイスの投入は、前記下部バンカ内に貯留された前記石炭の温度が50℃以上または前記下部バンカ内のCO濃度が5ppm以上になった時に行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の石炭バンカ内の石炭温度上昇抑制方法。
- 前記CO2の遮断層の厚さは、20〜30cmであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の石炭バンカ内の石炭温度上昇抑制方法。
