Description
溶解炉洗浄工程においては、アルミニウムまたはその合金を溶解する溶解炉に純アルミニウムを投入して溶解し、投入した純アルミニウムが溶解したら、前記溶解炉の溶湯取出口から溶解した純アルミニウムを実質的に全量取り出して除去することにより、前記溶解炉の内部を洗浄する。
地金再生工程では、溶解炉洗浄工程で内部を洗浄した溶解炉に廃平版印刷版を投入して溶解する。
本発明の平版印刷版支持体用材料は、上述のように、前記地金再生方法で得られた再生地金10〜65重量%と純アルミニウム90〜35重量%とを溶融、混合させ、ついで凝固させたものである。
(実施例1)
平版印刷版の代表的なグレードであるグレードAおよびBに使用されている支持体、および新地金(純アルミニウム)の微量元素の成分比を以下の表2に示す。
実施例1において、廃平版印刷版の平均サイズを0.5cm角から100cm角の範囲で変化させて1トン当たりの溶解時間、および再生地金の再生収率を測定した。なお、再生収率は、投入した廃平版印刷版に対する得られた再生地金の重量%として定義される。結果を表4に示す。
廃平版印刷版として未使用平版印刷版を用い、感光層、合紙、内装材、粘着テープ(以下、「感光層、合紙等」という。)の重量割合を変化させたときの再生収率を調べた。結果を表5に示す。
実施例1において、溶湯温度を650℃〜760℃の範囲で変化させて1トン当たりの溶解時間、および再生地金の再生収率を測定した。結果を表6に示す。
溶解炉として、内容量20トンの直火加熱型であって、Siを含まない耐火煉瓦で内張りしたSiフリー炉を用いた。
Claims (5)
- アルミニウム含有量が99.5重量%以上である純アルミニウムを溶解炉で溶解させて前記溶解炉の内部を洗浄する溶解炉洗浄工程と、
未使用平版印刷版および使用済み平版印刷版から選択される廃平版印刷版を、前記溶解炉洗浄工程で内部を洗浄した溶解炉で溶解させて再生地金とする地金再生工程とを有することを特徴とする地金再生方法。 - 前記地金再生工程においては、感光層、感光層保護材、および包装材料の合計量が1重量%以下の廃平版印刷版を用いる請求項1に記載の地金再生方法。
- 前記地金再生工程において使用される廃平版印刷版のサイズは2〜60cm角である請求項1または2に記載の地金再生方法。
- 前記溶解炉として炉壁がSiを含まないSiフリー炉を使用する請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の地金再生方法。
- 前記地金再生工程において廃平版印刷版を溶解させる温度は680〜750℃である請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の地金再生方法。
