Claims (8)
- 金属を鋳造する金型内でメニスカスを測定する方法であって、金型は金型銅板を備え、メニスカスの高さを検出するために、メニスカスの領域における温度分布が金型の高さに渡って検出され、この温度検出が少なくとも一つの測定プローブによって行われ、検出された温度分布から一つの評価装置によってメニスカスの高さが検出される方法において、
測定プローブは少なくとも一つの光波導体を備え、しかも、測定プローブはシリンダの形状を有し、このシリンダの周りに前記光波導体が螺旋状に巻き付けられ、この測定プローブが金型銅板の孔に挿入されるものであることを特徴とする方法。 - 金型の下端の領域における鋳造過程を制御するために、少なくとも一つの他の測定プローブが温度検出するように配置されていて、光波導体或いは熱電対の少なくとも一方を包含することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 幅広方向において、鋳造方向に対して垂直に、少なくとも二つの測定プローブが配置されているので、メニスカス高さが少なくとも二つの測定箇所に幅広方向に検出され得るから、一つのメニスカス波の形状に関する情報が得られることを特徴とする請求項1或いは2に記載の方法。
- 評価装置のデータが金型内のメニスカス高さ制御できる制御システムに再送されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- メニスカスの領域における金属を鋳造する金型内で温度検出によってメニスカスの高さを検出するプローブであって、このプローブが少なくとも一つの光波導体を備え、プローブはシリンダの形状を有し、そして、このシリンダの周りに少なくとも一つの光波導体が螺旋状に巻き付けられ、それにより、プローブは金型銅板の孔に挿入されるものであることを特徴とするプローブ。
- 少なくとも一つの光波導体がプローブ上で溝に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のプローブ。
- 請求項5或いは6に記載のプローブが少なくとも一つ組み込まれる、金属を鋳造する金型の金型銅板であって、この金型銅板はメニスカスに対して垂直に設けられた少なくとも一つの孔を備え、この孔の中に少なくとも一つのプローブが挿入されることを特徴とする金型銅板。
- 請求項7に記載の金型銅板を備えた金型。
