織物、不織布及び指向された強化部を備えたその他の形状体が、極端に剛性である完全なサンドイッチ状態の複合材を提供するために、外層内に埋め込まれている。
Claims (6)
- 曲げ剛性の強化された複合材シートであって、前記複合材シートは、
A.ガラス含量が20乃至60重量%であり、かつ空隙量が5体積%未満であるガラス繊維強化ポリプロピレンから形成されるとともに0.5乃至5mmの厚みを有する一つ又は二つの外層と、
B.ガラス含量が35乃至80重量%であり、かつ空隙量が20乃至80体積%であるガラス繊維強化ポリプロピレンから形成されるとともに2乃至40mmの厚みを有するコア層と、からなり、
前記層A中のガラス繊維は10乃至100mmの平均長(重量平均)を有する無方向繊維のニードリングされたマットとして存在しているか、又は無方向繊維とともにニードリングされた織物又は不織布として存在しており、かつ
前記コア層はポリプロピレン繊維とガラス繊維とを乾式混合し、混合した不織物をニードリングし、そして加熱プレスすることにより得られることを特徴とする、複合材シート。 - 前記層B中のガラス繊維は、共にニードリングされた10乃至60mmの平均長(重量平均)を有する無方向繊維であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の複合材シート。
- A−B−Aという順序の層を有する、請求項1に記載の複合材シート。
- 請求項1に記載の複合材シートであって、前記シートの一方又は両方の側に、ホイル、製織された織物、又は繊維不織物のような機能的な層を備える、複合材シート。
- 請求項1に記載の複合材シートを形成する方法であって、少なくとも一つの層Aと少なくとも一つの層Bとは180乃至220℃の温度にて5乃至50分間、共に、プレス中にて不連続に加圧されることを特徴とする、方法。
- 前記コア層Bは、各々が1乃至10mmの厚みを有する複数の単層を互いに積み重ねることにより構成されている、請求項5に記載の方法。
