Description

The present invention relates to a sound insulation member mounting structure.

An engine hood is disposed above the engine room. One end of the engine hood is supported by a hood hinge so as to be freely opened and closed. On one end side of the engine hood, a rubber front weatherstrip that is an elastic member is arranged all the way in the vehicle width direction to prevent entry of water and dust into the engine room.

Such a front weather strip is integrally molded because it is not desired to provide a joint in consideration of sealing properties, and a region to be sealed is sealed with one member. However, the vehicle body portion to which the front weatherstrip is attached has a plurality of panels joined together, and the heights thereof are different from each other because the surfaces are not smooth and the drainage path is formed. Therefore, if the front weather strip is configured in the same shape, when the engine hood is closed, a portion that is crushed and closely adhered to the engine hood and a portion that is not crushed and not adhered are generated. If the front weatherstrip is not crushed, there will be a gap between it and the engine hood, and depending on where it occurs, it will become a sound entry path from the engine room to the vehicle interior (inside the cabin).

Patent Document 1 proposes a cushion in which an engagement hole is formed in a rubber cushion portion, and a resin clip is inserted into the hole from the attachment surface side and attached to the vehicle body.

Japanese Patent No. 3818128

Cut the front weatherstrip where the front weatherstrip is not crushed and place a sound insulation member with a height that does not allow clearance between the front hood and the engine hood. It is conceivable to secure. However, the vehicle body part where the front weatherstrip is placed is a structurally complex part where multiple panels are joined, and the sealing member is applied, so if you try to attach the elastic member to the car body with double-sided tape, it will be installed Surface smoothness cannot be obtained. For this reason, there is a problem in that a sufficient holding force cannot be obtained for the sound insulating member, and the sound insulating member is lifted with the opening and closing of the engine hood. Of course, it is conceivable to fix the sound insulating member to the vehicle body with a clip or the like, but if the sound insulating member is simply stopped with the clip, the sound insulating member will be crushed and the volume cannot be secured, creating a gap and reducing the sound insulating property End up.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a sound insulation member mounting structure capable of obtaining a stable mounting state while improving sound insulation.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the invention of claim 1 is a sound insulation member mounting structure disposed in a sound entry path into a vehicle interior, wherein the sound insulation member is formed of an elastically deformable material, A slit parallel to the attachment surface to the entry path and an insertion hole extending from the slit to the attachment surface are formed, and the shaft portion of the attachment member is inserted into the insertion hole from the slit and attached to the attachment portion of the entry path. It is characterized by doing.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the sound insulating member mounting structure according to the first aspect, the insertion hole is formed so as to penetrate through the slit to a surface opposite to the mounting surface.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the sound insulation member mounting structure according to the first or second aspect, the approach path is an end of the weather strip extending in the vehicle width direction in the vicinity of the hood hinge that supports the engine hood so as to be opened and closed. The sound insulation member is closely attached between the end of the weather strip and the side surface of the vehicle body, and deforms along the shape of the engine hood when the engine hood occupies the closed position. It is characterized by being formed as follows.

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the sound insulating member mounting structure according to the third aspect, the sound insulating member is bonded between the end of the weather strip and the side surface of the vehicle body after the mounting member is inserted into the slit. It is characterized by being mounted.

According to the present invention, the sound insulation member formed of an elastically deformable material is formed with a slit parallel to the attachment surface to the entry path and an insertion hole reaching the attachment surface from the slit, Since the shaft portion is inserted into the insertion hole and attached to the attachment portion of the approach path, the entire sound insulation member is not crushed by the attachment member when attached to the attachment portion. For this reason, since the sound insulation member is attached to the approach path by the attachment member without generating a gap between the sound entry path, a stable attachment state can be obtained while improving sound insulation.

According to the present invention, since the insertion hole is formed through the slit to the surface opposite to the attachment surface, when the sound insulating member is attached to the attachment portion, the insertion hole penetrates the attachment member. Since the position can be grasped, workability at the time of installation is improved.

According to the present invention, the engine hood is closed in the approach path formed between the end of the weather strip extending in the vehicle width direction and the side surface of the vehicle body in the vicinity of the hood hinge that supports the engine hood so that it can be opened and closed. When the position is occupied, the sound insulation member formed so as to deform along the shape of the engine hood is disposed in close contact, so that no gap is generated between the engine hood and the sound insulation member, and the sound insulation property is improved. A stable mounting state can be obtained while improving the state.

According to the present invention, after the mounting member is inserted into the slit, the slit is adhered and the sound insulation member is mounted between the end of the front weather strip and the side of the vehicle body. Does not open, and the slit portion can be prevented from being cut or damaged.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The mounting structure of the shielding member according to the present invention is applied to a vehicle 1 as shown in FIGS. An engine hood 3 is disposed above an engine room 2 provided in front of the vehicle 1. One end side 3A of the engine hood 3 is supported on the vehicle body by hood hinges 20 and 20 so as to be freely opened and closed. Below the one end side 3A of the engine hood, a rubber front weather strip 4 serving as an elastic member is disposed. The front weather strip 4 extends to a deck portion 5 that extends in the vehicle width direction, and prevents water, dust, and the like from entering the engine room.

As shown in FIG. 3, the deck portions 5A and 5B between the end portions 4A and 4B of the front weather strip 4 and the left and right front fender panels 6 and 7 on the side of the vehicle body are higher than the other portions. 2 extends to the cabin 8 which is a vehicle interior located behind the vehicle 2. The deck portions 5A and 5B form sound entry paths 9 and 10 to the cabin 8 when the engine hood 3 is closed.

In this embodiment, the sound insulation member 11 is disposed in each of the approach paths 9 and 10. The sound insulation member 11 is disposed in the front passages 9 and 10 at the deck portions 5A and 5B between the end portions 4A and 4B of the front weather strip 4 and the front fender panels 6 and 7 in consideration of sealing performance. The weather strip 4 is disposed in close contact with the end portions 4A and 4B so that there is no gap. If the sealing property is not taken into consideration, it is not necessary to arrange and be in close contact with the end portions 4A and 4B of the front weather strip 4, and the entrance paths 9 and 10 are blocked in any part of the entrance paths 9 and 10. May be arranged as follows.

As the material of the sound insulating member 11, rubber that is an elastic member that is more flexible than the rubber used for the front weather strip 4 is used. In this embodiment, the sound insulating member 11 is made of ethylene / propylene rubber (EPDM). The sound insulation member 11 may be made of butyl rubber (IIR), which is a non-diene nonpolar rubber, but EPDM is preferred in view of heat aging resistance and impact resilience.

As shown in FIGS. 4A to 4D, the sound insulating member 11 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and its height is the inner surface of the engine hood 3 when the engine hood 3 occupies the closed position. It is set so as to be located in the area crushed by 3A. The width of the sound insulation member 11 is in close contact with the inner surfaces 6A and 7A (the inner surface of the approach path) of the front fender panels 6 and 7 and the end portions 4A and 4B of the front weather strip 4 when mounted on the deck portions 5A and 5B. The length to be set. That is, the sound insulating member 11 is formed so as to deform along the shape of the engine hood 3 when the engine hood 3 occupies the closed position.

The sound insulation member 11 is formed with a slit 13 parallel to the lower surface 11A serving as a mounting surface for the deck portions 5A and 5B from one side surface 11C. The sound insulation member 11 has an insertion hole 15 extending from the slit 13 to the lower surface 11A. The insertion hole 15 is formed so as to penetrate through the slit 13 to the upper surface 11B which is a surface opposite to the mounting surface 11A. The sound insulating member 11 holds the clip pin 17 between the slits 13 by inserting the shaft portion 17 </ b> A of the clip pin 17 serving as an attachment member into the insertion hole 15 from within the slit 13.

The sound insulation member 11 having such a configuration may be stocked with the clip pin 17 held in advance, or the slit 13 and the insertion hole 15 are formed, and the sound insulation member 11 is attached to the deck portions 5A and 5B. The clip pin 17 may be inserted into the slit 13 and held. Here, the talk is continued with the clip pin 17 held in advance on the sound insulating member 11.

The operator opens the engine hood 3, inserts the sound insulation member 11 holding the clip pin 17 into the deck portions 5A and 5B located in the vehicle body width direction, and inserts the tip 17B of the shaft portion 17A of the clip pin 17 into the deck. It fits in the hole 18 used as the attaching part currently formed in part 5A, 5B. As a result, the sound insulating member 11 is in close contact with the inner surfaces 6A and 7A of the front fender panels 6 and 7 and the end portions 4A and 4B of the front weather strip 4 as shown by the one-dot chain line in FIG. 3 is mounted on the deck portions 5A and 5B in a state of being located in an interference area with the deck 3.

When the engine hood 3 is closed and occupies the closed position in such a mounted state, the upper surface 11A of the sound insulation member 11 is crushed downward by the inner side surface 3A of the engine hood 3 as shown in FIG. As a result, the sound insulating member 11 is compressed, so that the lower surface 11A is in close contact with the deck portions 5A and 5B, and each upper surface 11B is deformed into a shape along the inner side surface 3A of the engine hood 3.

That is, in the sound insulating member 11 formed of an elastically deformable material, a slit 13 parallel to the lower surface 11A serving as a mounting surface to the entry paths 9 and 10 and an insertion hole 15 reaching the lower surface 11A from the slit are formed. Since the shaft portion 17A of the clip pin 17 is inserted into the insertion hole 15 from the inside of the slit and mounted in the mounting hole 18 of the entry paths 9 and 10, the entire sound insulation member is not crushed by the clip pin 17 when mounted in the mounting hole 18. For this reason, since the sound insulation member 11 is attached to the approach paths 9 and 10 without generating a gap between the inner surface 3A of the engine hood 3, a stable attachment state can be obtained while improving the sound insulation.

Since the insertion hole 15 is formed so as to penetrate to the upper surface 11A of the sound insulation member 11, when the sound insulation member 11 is attached to the attachment hole 18, the position of the clip pin 17 is grasped by the insertion hole 15 that penetrates. This improves workability during installation.

Further, after inserting the clip pin 17 into the slit 13, the slit 13 may be bonded. As described above, since the deck portion 5A, 5B sound insulation member 11 is mounted by bonding the slit 13, the slit portion does not open even when the engine hood 3 is opened and closed, and the slit portion can be prevented from being cut or damaged. The durability of the sound insulation member 11 can be improved.

In the present embodiment, the entry paths 9 and 10 from the engine room 2 to the cabin 8 are shown as the sound entry path. However, in the vehicle, examples of the sound entry path to the cabin include the inside of the left and right fenders and each pillar. It is done. In such a case, the sound insulating member 11 is formed in a shape larger than the internal cross-sectional area of the fender and the internal cross-sectional area of the pillar, the mounting holes 18 are formed in the panel members constituting the fender and the pillar, and the clip pin 17 Is inserted into the mounting hole 18 and the sound insulating member 11 may be mounted in the fender or pillar.
