Description
例えば、引用文献1には、表面に凹凸形状を有する表面シートを使用し、この表面シートと吸収体とを固定するエンボスを略長円状に連結した環状エンボスを設けた生理用ナプキンの技術が開示されている。
そこで、生理用ナプキンのムレを無くし、肌トラブルをさらに解消するために、長手方向に延びる畝が並列する、空気が通る道を有する表面シートを備えた生理用ナプキンが考えられる。
しかしながら、このような表面シートを備えた生理用ナプキンは、空気が通る道を有する一方、経血が肌に接する畝を伝わって、あるいは畝と畝の間の肌を伝わって、伝い流れ漏れをしてしまう可能性がある。
そこで、伝い流れ漏れを防止するため、生理用ナプキンの長手方向前後領域に幅方向に連続して延びる圧搾条溝を設けることが考えられるが、表面シートや吸収体等の構造が大きく変化して液の通過性を阻害するほど圧搾されてしまうと、畝を伝わってきた経血を確実に引き込むことができず、伝い流れ漏れを確実に防止することができない。また、表面シートの構造変化が大きい程、表面シートの特徴を減殺してしまう。
前記表面シート2は、肌当接面側に長手方向に延び且つ幅方向に交互に並列する畝21と溝22を有し、該畝21は、中実な繊維集合体からなっている。
前記条溝5は、生理用ナプキン1の長手方向前後領域の少なくとも一方に幅方向に延び、該条溝5の延びる方向に沿って、該条溝5の底部5aに圧搾部51と非圧搾部52とが交互に並列して形成されている。
該圧搾部51の表面51aは、前記吸収体4の表面4aよりも下方に位置し、該非圧搾部52の表面52aは、前記吸収体4の表面4aよりも上方に位置しており、該非圧搾部52における前記表面シート2は、その繊維密度が前記表面シート2の前記畝21の繊維密度よりも高く且つフィルム状態とならず繊維状態を維持している。
ここで、畝21の厚みh1とは、畝21の頂部21aにおける測定値を示す。また、畝21と溝22との境界部23は、図3(b)に示すように、畝21の頂部21aにおける厚みh1の半分の厚みの位置と定義する。
ここで、畝21の幅W1とは、畝21の境界部23における測定値である。同様に、溝22の幅W2とは、溝22の境界部23における測定値である。
畝21の厚みh1、畝21の幅W1及び溝22の幅W2の測定は、マイクロスコープVH‐8000(キーエンス製)を用い、表面シート2の断面を50倍〜200倍に拡大観察して行う。断面は、フェザー剃刀(品番FAS‐10、フェザー安全剃刀(株)製)を用い、表面シート2を切断して得る。
尚、図3(a)に示す表面シート2の畝21は、X1−X1線から投影した畝21を示している。
ここで、圧搾部51と非圧搾部52との境界部53は、図3(a)に示すように非圧搾部52の表面52aでの頂部52bと圧搾部51の表面51aでの底部51bとの中間の位置と定義する。非圧搾部52の表面シート2の繊維密度は、圧搾部51と吸収体4とを除去した表面シート2の重量と体積から求める。表面シート2の畝21の繊維密度は、溝22を除去した畝21の重量と体積から求める。体積は、前述した畝21の厚みh1、畝21の幅W1及び溝22の幅W2を測定した器具を使用して測定する。
圧搾部51は、略長方形状に形成されているが、実際には、開口51c部の四周それぞれは、円弧に形成されているため(図3(a)参照)、圧搾部51の幅W3及び長さL1は、圧搾部51と非圧搾部52との境界部53における測定値である。測定は、前述した畝21の幅W1、溝22の幅W2等の測定と同様にして行う。
ここで、間隔W4とは、図2、図3(a)に示すように、圧搾部51の境界部53でのX方向中央部と隣接する圧搾部51の境界部53でのX方向中央部との間の長さと定義する。
本実施形態の生理用ナプキン1は、図1に示すように、生理用ナプキン1の長手方向(Y方向)の両端縁に亘って延びる複数の畝21と溝22とを交互に有する表面シート2を備えている。また、表面シート2の畝21は、図3(a),図3(b),図4及び図5に示すように、中実な繊維集合体で形成されているため、長時間装着しても畝21が潰れることがなく、肌への接触面積を低減し装着感を向上することができる。また、中実な繊維集合体で形成されている畝21同士の間の溝22は、長手方向(Y方向)に延びる空気が通る道となり、生理用ナプキン1のムレを無くし、肌トラブルを解消することができる。

Claims (3)
- 肌当接面側に表面シート、非肌当接面側に裏面シート及びこれら両シート間に吸収体が配置されてなり、該表面シートと該吸収体とを圧縮して形成される条溝を具備する縦長の生理用ナプキンにおいて、
前記表面シートは繊維集合体からなり、肌当接面側に長手方向に延び且つ幅方向に交互に並列する畝と溝とを有し、
前記畝は、中実な繊維集合体からなっており、
前記条溝は、前記生理用ナプキンの長手方向前後領域の少なくとも一方に幅方向に延び、該条溝の底部に圧搾部と非圧搾部とが形成されており、該圧搾部の表面は、前記吸収体の表面よりも下方に位置し、前記非圧搾部の表面は、前記吸収体の表面よりも上方に位置しており、該非圧搾部における前記表面シートは、その繊維密度が前記表面シートの前記畝の繊維密度よりも高く且つフィルム状態とならずに維状態を維持しており、
前記圧搾部は、該圧搾部の面積の30%以上がフィルム状態であり、
前記条溝の底部の前記非圧搾部の表面が、前記表面シートの前記溝の表面より上方に位置しており、
前記非圧搾部の頂部は、前記表面シートの前記溝内に形成されていない生理用ナプキン。 - 前記畝の厚みは前記溝より厚い請求項1に記載の生理用ナプキン。
- 前記圧搾部それぞれの長さは、前記表面シートの前記畝の高さの50%以上であって、200%以下である請求項1又は2に記載の生理用ナプキン。
