Description
フレキシブルな基体の上に発光素子が形成されており、発光面側の表面と裏面側の表面とが接触するように巻き取り可能なトップエミッションタイプのフレキシブル表示装置において、
発光面側の表面に、SiNからなる無機封止層と、前記無機封止層の外側に配置された高分子フィルムとを備え、
発光面側の表面の硬さは、裏面側の表面の硬さより大きいことを特徴とする。
図2は、本発明の第1の実施例によるフレキシブル表示装置の構成を示したものである。
実施例1において、裏面側のPESフィルムをPCフィルムとした他は、実施例1と同じとした。なお、本実施例の説明は、図2を流用しながら行う。
図3は、本発明の第3の実施例によるフレキシブル表示装置の構成を示したものである。
図4は、本発明の第1の参考実施例によるフレキシブル表示装置の構成を示したものである。
図5は、本発明の第2の参考実施例によるフレキシブル表示装置の構成を示したものである。
図6は、本発明の第3の参考実施例によるフレキシブル表示装置の構成を示したものである。
実施例1において、PESフィルム21の表面粗さを、下面21(A)をRa=0.6nm、上面21(B)をRa=0.6nmとした他は、実施例1と同じとした。本実施例で作製した表示装置の機械特性は、実施例1と同じであった。
実施例5において、PENフィルム57上にポリイミド樹脂層58を形成しない他は、実施例5と同じとした。
図3を用いて、本比較例のフレキシブル表示装置の構成を説明する。

Claims (5)
- フレキシブルな基体の上に発光素子が形成されており、発光面側の表面と裏面側の表面とが接触するように巻き取り可能なトップエミッションタイプのフレキシブル表示装置において、
発光面側の表面に、SiNからなる無機封止層と、前記無機封止層の外側に配置された高分子フィルムとを備え、
発光面側の表面の硬さは、裏面側の表面の硬さより大きいことを特徴とする、フレキシブル表示装置。 - 発光面側の表面の硬さH(F)は、裏面側の表面の硬さH(B)に対して、1.6≦H(F)/H(B)≦3.5であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフレキシブル表示装置。
- 裏面側の表面の粗さは、算術平均粗さRa≧1.5nmであることを特徴とする、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のフレキシブル表示装置。
- 前記高分子フィルムは、ポリエチレンナフタレートフィルムであることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル表示装置。
- 前記高分子フィルムが、その片面或いは両面に、無機膜或いは有機膜からなる、或いはそれらを積層してなるバリア層を有することを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル表示装置。
