Claims (6)
- 第一基板と第二基板の間に挟持された液晶層と、
前記第二基板と前記液晶層の間に挟持された屈折率マッチング層と、
前記屈折率マッチング層と前記液晶層の間に挟持された内蔵偏光層と、
前記内蔵偏光層と前記液晶層の間に挟持されたカラーフィルタ層と、
前記第二基板に対して、前記液晶層が配置された側とは反対側に配置された反射層とを有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記第二基板,前記屈折率マッチング層、及び前記カラーフィルタ層の波長λにおける屈折率をそれぞれ、Ns,Nn、及びNcとし、屈折率マッチング層の膜厚をL,mを0以上の整数としたとき、
Nn 2 ≒Ns×Nc
L=(1/4+m/2)×λ/Nn
であることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記第一基板と前記第二基板の間に挟持された着色層を有し、
前記着色層の一部が着色されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記カラーフィルタ層は、前記屈折率マッチング層及び前記内蔵偏光層の間に挟持されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記第二基板と前記反射層の間に蛍光体層が挟持されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置において、
前記第一基板と前記液晶層の間に配線素子層が挟持されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
