Claims (35)
- デバイスの位置の判定を容易にするシステムであって、
デバイスにおいて複数の環境信号を受信する信号コンポーネントと、
前記複数の環境信号間の相対信号強度に基づいて前記複数の環境信号の順位ベクトルを計算する順位付けコンポーネントと、
順位ベクトルと位置との対応を示すヒストグラムを利用して、前記計算された順位ベクトルに基づいてデバイスの少なくとも1つの概算位置を推論する分析コンポーネントと
を備えたことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記分析コンポーネントによって推論された前記概算位置は、エンティティによってリアルタイムで利用されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記分析コンポーネントは、前記デバイスの少なくとも1つの推論された概算位置の平滑化を提供することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記平滑化は、可変数の以前の信号強度走査にわたって最も高い頻度で推論された位置を得ることを備えたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記可変数は、ある期間にわたるいくつかの信号走査を表す時間ウィンドウKを備えたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記分析コンポーネントは、前記環境信号の最適化を提供して環境信号の数を実質的に減らすことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記最適化は、数を減らし易くするために環境信号間の相関の度合いを利用することを特徴とする請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記相関の度合いは、少なくとも1つの空間的に対応する信号源位置に基づいて環境信号のペア間のピアソンの相関係数を備えたことを特徴とする請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記最適化は、少なくとも1つの相関しきい値ρを使用することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記相関しきい値は、約0.95に等しいことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記環境信号は、少なくとも1つの無線周波数(RF)信号を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記デバイスは、RF信号のみを受信することができることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記RF信号は、802.11信号、振幅変調(AM)無線信号、周波数変調(FM)無線信号、テレビ放送信号、商用ラジオ信号および軍用無線信号からなるグループから選択された少なくとも1つを備えたことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記環境信号は、赤外線信号、x線信号、超低周波信号、音波信号および超音波信号からなるグループから選択された少なくとも1つを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記順位付けコンポーネントは、それぞれの信号強度の各順列に対する一意の順位ハッシュコードを生成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記分析コンポーネントは、順位ハッシュコードと位置との対応を示すヒストグラムを利用して、前記生成された順位ハッシュコードに基づいて前記デバイスの前記少なくとも1つの概算位置を推論することを特徴とする請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記分析コンポーネントは、前記ヒストグラムに関して平滑化技法を利用することを特徴とする請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記平滑化技法は、前記ヒストグラムに関係する少なくとも1つのスピアマン相関関数を使用するプロセスを備えたことを特徴とする請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記平滑化技術は、相関しきい値ρsを利用することを特徴とする請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記相関しきい値は、約0.9に等しいことを特徴とする請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記分析コンポーネントは、ある特定の位置で得られた順位ハッシュコードの離散確率分布を概算することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記分析コンポーネントは、統計分析において、1つまたは複数の信号放射体からの時間変化する信号強度と、1つまたは複数の信号放射体からの静的信号強度とからなるグループから選択された少なくとも1つを利用することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記分析コンポーネントは、少なくとも1つの伝播モデルを利用することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記伝播モデルは、地形依存の無線伝播モデルを少なくとも部分的に備えたことを特徴とする請求項23に記載のシステム。
- 全地球測位システムコンポーネント(GPS)をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記環境信号の相対信号強度に基づいて前記デバイスの速度を判定または推論する速度コンポーネントをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 適応的にダウンロード可能なルックアップテーブルをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 信号強度シミュレーションコンポーネントをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記信号強度シミュレーションコンポーネントは、前記分析コンポーネントに少なくとも1つの所望の地域についての信号強度データを提供することを特徴とする請求項28に記載のシステム。
- 前記信号強度データは、前記所望の地域の上に横たわるグリッドシステムに基づくデータを備えたことを特徴とする請求項29に記載のシステム。
- 前記分析コンポーネントは、少なくとも1つの時間ベースの情報源をさらに利用して、前記デバイスの前記概算位置の判定を容易にすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- デバイスの位置の判定を容易にするシステムであって、
デバイスにおいて複数の環境信号を受信するための手段と、
前記複数の環境信号間の相対信号強度に基づいて前記複数の環境信号の順位ベクトルを計算する手段と、
前記順位ベクトルと位置との対応を示すヒストグラムを利用して、デバイスの概算位置を、前記計算された順位ベクトルに基づいて推論するための手段と
を備えたことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記環境信号は、無線周波数(RF)信号を備えたことを特徴とする請求項32に記載のシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムを実現するコンピュータ実行可能命令を格納したことを特徴とするコンピュータ可読媒体。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムを使用したデバイスであって、コンピュータ、サーバ、ウエアラブル電子デバイス、添え付け可能な電子デバイスおよびハンドヘルド電子デバイスからなるグループから選択された少なくとも1つを備えたことを特徴とするデバイス。
