[式中、YはCr、Mn、Ta、Ti、B、Al、Ga、In、Pt、Zn、Cd、Bi、Ce、Co、Rh、Ir、Cu、Ag、Fe、Ru、Os、K、Rb、Cs、Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba、Zr、Hf、Ni、P、Pb、Sb、Si、Sn、Tl、U、Re、Teおよび/またはLaよりなる群から選択される1種もしくはそれ以上の元素であり;a、b、c、d、eおよびfは0<a≦1;0≦b<1およびa+b=1;10−5<c≦0.02;0<d≦2;0<e≦1および0≦f≦2となるような各元素のグラム原子比を示す]
に従いパラジウムの不存在下に含む。

[式中、ZはB、Al、Ga、In、Ge、Sn、Pd、Sb、Cu、Pt、Ag、FeおよびReよりなる群から選択される1種もしくは以上の元素であり;a、b、c、d、eおよびfは0<a≦1;0≦b<1およびa+b=1;10−5<c≦0.02;0<d≦2;0<e≦1および0.0001≦f≦0.05となるような各元素のグラム原子比を示す]
に従いパラジウムの不存在下に含む。好ましくはZはSnである。前記触媒は、存在してもエチレンへの低い選択率と組み合わせて高い酢酸への選択率を与える。

となるようなそれぞれ各元素Mo、W、Z、VおよびNbのグラム原子比を示すことを特徴とする触媒組成物を提供する。
(a)モリブデンとバナジウムとニオブと支持体材料もしくはその先駆体と成分Zと場合によりタングステンとからなる溶液における混合物を形成させ;
(b)この混合物を乾燥して乾燥固体材料を形成させ;
(c)乾燥固体材料を焼成して触媒組成物を形成させる
各工程を特徴とする。

(i)第1反応帯域にてエタンと場合によりエチレンとからなるガス混合物を前記した触媒組成物の存在下に高められた温度にて分子状酸素含有ガスと接触させることにより酢酸とエチレンとからなる第1生成物流を生成させ、
(ii)第2反応帯域にて前記第1生成物流からの前記エチレンの少なくとも1部および前記酢酸の少なくとも1部を酢酸ビニルの製造に適する触媒の存在下に高められた温度で分子状酸素含有ガスと接触させて、酢酸ビニルを含む第2生成物流を生成させる
ことを特徴とする。
(i)第1反応帯域にてエタンと場合によりエチレンとからなるガス混合物を前記触媒組成物の存在下に高められた温度で分子状酸素含有ガスと接触させて、酢酸とエチレンとからなる第1生成物流を生成させ、
(ii)第2反応帯域にて前記第1生成物流からの前記エチレンの少なくとも1部および前記酢酸の少なくとも1部と場合により水とを、酢酸エチルの製造に適する触媒の存在下に高められた温度にて接触させることにより酢酸エチルからなる第2生成物流を生成させる
ことを特徴とする。
比較触媒A
シリカ上のMo 1.00 V 0.529 Nb 0.124 O x (=Mo 60.5 V 32 Nb 7.5 O x )
次の3種の溶液を作成した:
溶液A:214gのヘプタモリブデン塩アンモニウムを250gの水に45℃にて攪拌しながら溶解させた。
触媒Bは比較触媒Aと同様な名目組成を有するが、ただし0.33のグラム原子比にて錫を更に添加した。
触媒Cは触媒Bと同様な名目組成を有するが、ただし錫の約半分をチタンで置き換えてそれぞれ0.165のグラム原子比にて錫とチタンとを含む名目組成を触媒に与えた。
触媒Dは触媒Bと同様な名目組成を有するが、シリカ−チタニア支持体に支持させた。
触媒Eは触媒Dと同様な名目組成を有するが、シリカとシリカ−チタニアとの支持体の混合物に支持した。
触媒Fは触媒Aと同様な名目組成を有するが、0.33のグラム原子比にてTiを更に添加した。
触媒組成物を、下表における各触媒につき示した条件下で流動床反応器にて試験した。
Claims (33)
- エタンおよび必要に応じエチレンから酢酸およびエチレンへの酸化のための触媒組成物において、(i)支持体および(ii)酸素と組み合わせた元素モリブデンとバナジウムとニオブと必要に応じタングステン、成分Z及び必要に応じて成分Yとからなり、ここでa、b、c、d、eおよびfはそれぞれ
0<a≦1;0≦b<1およびa+b=1;
0.05<c≦2;
0<d≦2;
0<e≦1;および
0≦f≦2
となるような各元素Mo、W、Z、V、NbおよびYのグラム原子比を示し、
成分Zは1種もしくはそれ以上のGe,Sn及びPbから選択され、成分Yは1種もしくはそれ以上のCr,Mn,Ta,B,Al,Ga,In,Pt,Zn,Cd,Bi,Ce,Co,Rh,Ir,Cu,Ag,Fe,Ru,Os,K,Rb,Cs,Mg,Ca,Sr,Ba,Ni,P,Si,Tl,U,Re,La,Ti,Hf及びZrから選択されることを特徴とする触媒組成物。 - 0.01<a≦1、0.1≦c≦2、0.1≦d≦2、0.01<e≦1である請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。

各工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の触媒組成物の製造方法。 - 工程(a)で形成された混合物が更に、請求項1,6,7または8のいずれか一項に記載の成分Yをも含む請求項18に記載の方法。
- 混合物を水における溶液として形成させる請求項18に記載の方法。
- 溶液が2〜8のpHを有する請求項20に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)にて支持体材料もしくはその先駆体を、モリブデンとバナジウムとニオブと成分Zと必要に応じタングステンおよび必要に応じ成分Yとの予備形成混合物に添加する請求項18〜21のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程(b)の乾燥プロセスが噴霧乾燥プロセスである請求項18〜22のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 乾燥固体材料を200〜550℃の温度まで空気中もしくは酸素中にて1分間〜24時間にわたり加熱して焼成を行う請求項18〜23のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- エタンと必要に応じエチレンとを含むガス混合物より酢酸およびエチレンを製造する方法において、反応帯域でガス混合物を請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載または請求項18〜24のいずれか一項に記載のように作成された触媒組成物の存在下に高められた温度にて分子状酸素含有ガスと接触させることを特徴とする酢酸およびエチレンの製造方法。
- ガス混合物がエタンおよびエチレンを含む請求項25に記載の方法。
- 水をも供給成分として存在させる請求項25または26に記載の方法。
- 高められた温度が200〜500℃の範囲である請求項25〜27のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- プロセスを1〜50バールの範囲の圧力にて行う請求項25〜28のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 触媒を固定床もしくは流動床の形態で使用する請求項25〜29のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 酢酸の少なくとも1部およびエチレンの少なくとも1部を第2反応帯域にて酢酸ビニルの製造に適する触媒の存在下に高められた温度で分子状酸素含有ガスと接触させて酢酸ビニルを生成させる請求項25〜30のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 第2反応帯域が流動床反応器である請求項31に記載の方法。
- 酢酸の少なくとも1部およびエチレンの少なくとも1部を第2反応帯域にて酢酸エチルの製造に適する触媒の存在下に高められた温度で分子状酸素含有ガスと接触させて酢酸エチルを生成させる請求項25〜30のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
