Description
本出願は、2003年11月19日出願の「Highly Convertible Endolumenal Prostheses and Methods of Manufacture」と題された米国仮特許出願第60/523,578号、および出願番号未知の2004年11月15日出願の「Highly Convertible Endolumenal Prostheses and Methods of Manufacture」と題された米国特許出願に関しており、その優先日の利益を主張する。

Claims (6)
- 1つ以上のポリマーを含む管腔内人工器官であって、前記管腔内人工器官は、送達コンフィグレーションおよび展開されたコンフィグレーションを備え、前記1つ以上のポリマーが、結晶化度、引張強度、機械的強度、弾性率、歪み回復率、歪み固定率、転移温度、融解温度、結晶化温度、架橋密度、物理的架橋の程度、共有結合した架橋の程度、相互貫入する網目状構造の形成の程度、侵食の速度、侵食中の酸性度および融解熱からなる群より選択される1つ以上の特性を選択された程度まで示すように合成され、前記1つ以上のポリマーがグリセロールセバケートとテレフタレートのコポリマーまたはポリ(グリセロールテレフタレート)である管腔内人工器官。
- 縮んだ輪郭のコンフィグレーションから拡張した輪郭のコンフィグレーションへの変換後の前記管腔内人工器官の長さの減少の割合である短縮率が、13%未満である請求項1に記載の管腔内人工器官。
- 前記展開比が、20%と400%との間である請求項1又は請求項2に記載の管腔内人工器官。
- 前記歪み固定率が、90%と100%との間である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の管腔内人工器官。
- 前記歪み回復率が、90%と100%との間である請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の管腔内人工器官。
- 形状記憶ポリマー管腔内人工器官の製造方法であって、
結晶化度、引張強度、機械的強度、弾性率、歪み回復率、歪み固定率、転移温度、融解温度、結晶化温度、架橋密度、物理的架橋の程度、共有結合した架橋の程度、相互貫入する網目状構造の形成の程度、侵食の速度、侵食中の酸性度および融解熱からなる群より選択される1つ以上の特性を選択された程度まで示すようにグリセロールセバケートとテレフタレートのコポリマーまたはポリ(グリセロールテレフタレート)を合成する工程と、
前記ポリマーから一般的に管状の管腔内人工器官を製造する工程と、
前記管腔内人工器官の永続的な形状を設定する工程と、
前記管腔内人工器官の一時的な形状を設定する工程と、
を含む製造方法。
