Claims (4)
- エアバッグと、
前記エアバッグの内部にガスを供給する第1のガス噴出部と、
ガスを噴出する第2のガス噴出部と、
前記第2のガス噴出部からガスが供給され該ガスを噴出する供給口と、
短縮状態から伸長状態へ変化する際に、付勢力によって前記供給口を阻止位置から供給位置に移動させる伸縮体と、
前記供給口および前記伸縮体を有し、前記供給口が前記阻止位置に位置した状態であって前記第2のガス噴出部から噴出されるガスが前記エアバッグの内部に供給されるのを阻止する阻止状態から、前記供給口が前記供給位置に位置した状態であって前記第2のガス噴出部から噴出されるガスを前記供給口から前記エアバッグの内部に供給する供給状態に、前記付勢力によって変化するガス供給機構と、
前記付勢力に抗して前記ガス供給機構を前記阻止状態に維持する維持構造と、
前記維持構造と前記エアバッグとを連結し、引っ張られることで前記維持構造の前記維持を解除可能な解除部材と、
を備え、
前記ガス供給機構は、前記供給口および前記伸縮体を有して中空状に形成され内部に前記第2のガス噴出部からガスが供給されるガスタンクと、前記ガスタンクを収納したタンク収納部と、このタンク収納部に設けられ、前記阻止位置に位置した状態の前記供給口に連通し該供給口から噴出されるガスを排出する排出口と、を有し、前記供給口は、前記供給位置では、前記タンク収納部の外部に位置するように構成されており、
前記第1のガス噴出部から噴出されたガスによって前記エアバッグが膨張する過程で、前記解除部材が前記エアバッグによって引っ張られて前記維持構造による前記維持を解除した場合には、前記ガス供給機構が前記付勢力によって前記供給状態となり前記第2のガス噴出部から噴出されるガスが前記エアバッグの内部に供給されることを特徴とするエアバッグ装置。 - 前記維持構造は、前記エアバッグの内部に配置された規制部材と、前記伸縮体が短縮状態の前記ガスタンクと前記規制部材とによって挟持された被挟持部材と、を有し、
前記解除部材は、前記一端部が前記被挟持部材に連結され、
前記エアバッグが膨張する前記過程で、前記エアバッグによって引っ張られる前記解除部材が前記被挟持部材を前記ガスタンクと前記規制部材との間から引き抜くことにより、前記伸縮体が短縮状態から伸長状態となることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエアバッグ装置。 - 前記エアバッグは、貫通孔を有し、
前記維持構造は、前記貫通孔を閉止するとともに前記解除部材の一端部を前記エアバッグにおける前記貫通孔の周囲部分に固定した固定部材と、前記エアバッグに形成され前記貫通孔の周囲に位置し前記ガスタンクに当接して前記伸縮体を短縮状態に維持する規制部と、を有し、
前記エアバッグが膨張する前記過程で、前記エアバッグによって引っ張られる前記解除部材が前記固定部材による前記貫通孔の閉止を解除し、前記伸縮体が短縮状態から伸長状態となることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエアバッグ装置。 - 前記解除部材は、紐状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか一項に記載のエアバッグ装置。
