Claims (11)
- 電池ターミナル・ポスト上で使用されるケーブルコネクタ装置において、
該ケーブルコネクタ装置は、伝導性取付けキャップを含み、
該伝導性取付けキャップは、使用中に該伝導性取付けキャップを該電池ターミナル・ポスト上へ装着可能にするための、該電池ターミナル・ポストの表面積と対応する表面積を有する内側の取付け壁を有し、
該伝導性取付けキャップは、該伝導性取付けキャップと一体的であるまたは取り付け可能なケーブル取付けポストを含み、
該ケーブル取付けポストは、使用中に、該装置に電気ケーブルを受容し、固定するため、ケーブル固定手段に合わされ、
該ケーブル固定手段は、ケーブル固定ナットを含み、
該ケーブル固定ナットは、外側に絶縁層を形成する非導電層を備える導電性材料からなり、
該ケーブル固定ナットの該非導電層は、該ケーブル固定ナットの外部表面の形に合わせて作られたポリクロロプレンゴムまたは熱可塑性樹脂材料からなり、
該ケーブル固定ナットの該非導電層は、該ケーブル固定ナットの外部表面上の摩擦を増加させるための摩擦パターンとともに作られることにより、該ケーブル取付けポスト上の該ケーブル固定ナットは手で締め付けることができ、
該伝導性取付けキャップは、前記電池ターミナル・ポストにしっかりと取り付けられる、ケーブルコネクタ装置。 - 前記伝導性取付けキャップの前記内側の壁は、使用中、前記電池ターミナル・ポストの少なくとも一部の上の対向するネジ山を切断し、該伝導性取付けキャップを該電池ターミナル・ポストに確実に取り付けるように構成され、配置されるように該伝導性取付けキャップの該内側の壁上に雌ネジを備え、該電池ターミナル・ポストは、該対向するネジ山を形成することができるように十分に可鍛性がある、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記伝導性取付けキャップの前記内側の壁は、使用中、該伝導性取付けキャップが前記電池ターミナル・ポストに装着可能であるように、該伝導性取付けキャップにおいて少なくとも一つのスロットを備えた、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記伝導性取付けキャップの前記内側の壁は、使用中、該伝導性取付けキャップが前記電池ターミナル・ポストに装着可能であるように、該取付けキャップにおいて、および、その周りに3つまたは4つの間隔を置かれた別々の縦方向スロットを備えた、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ケーブル取付けポストは横断面において円形であり、それに対して電気ケーブルを固定するための対向するネジ山でナットを受容するように適応する雄ネジを備えた、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ケーブル取付けポストは本質的に前記導電性取付けキャップの縦軸の上に垂直に整列配置された、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ケーブル固定ナットの外部表面は、ポリ塩化ビニル材を含む耐久性がある弾力的な非導電材料で形成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記伝導性取付けキャップは、使用中、該伝導性取付けキャップを前記電池ターミナル・ポストに固定するため、対向する雌ネジでフェルール・ナットを受容するように適応する雄ネジを備えた、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記フェルール・ナットは外部表面を有し、該外部表面は本質的に該フェルール・ナットの該外部表面の周りに提供される非導電材料を備えた、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記フェルール・ナットの該外部表面はポリクロロプレンゴムまたはポリ塩化ビニル材を含む非導電材料でできている、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記ケーブル取付けポストは、該導電性取付けキャップの垂直軸に対し1および90°間の角度で取り付けられる請求項1に記載の装置。
