- 受信器であって,
入力信号を第1周波数帯域内の信号にダウンコンバートするように構成したダウンコンバータと,
前記ダウンコンバータに接続され,前記第1周波数帯域内の前記信号をデジタル化して,デジタル表現した前記第1周波数帯域内の前記信号を生成するように構成したアナログデジタル変換器(ADC)と,
前記デジタル表現した前記第1周波数帯域内の前記信号を,第2周波数帯域内のデジタル表現した前記信号にアップコンバートするように構成したデジタルアップコンバータと,
較正信号を発生するように構成した信号発生器と,
前記較正信号を前記受信器の信号経路に接続する接続器と,
前記較正信号を前記信号経路に接続したとき,同相信号成分及び直交信号成分を検出するように構成した検波器と,
前記同相信号経路及び前記直交信号経路のうち少なくとも一方の利得を調整するように構成した利得フィードバックモジュールと,
前記同相信号経路及び前記直交信号経路のうち少なくとも一方の位相を調整するように構成した位相フィードバックモジュールと,
を備える受信器。 - 前記第1周波数帯域は,前記受信器のモードに応じて,ベースバンド周波帯域又は低中間周波(IF)帯域のうち1つとする請求項1に記載の受信器。
- 前記ダウンコンバータは,
前記入力信号の同相成分を前記第1周波数帯域にダウンコンバートするように構成した同相ダウンコンバータと,
前記入力信号の直交成分を前記第1周波数帯域にダウンコンバートするように構成した直交ダウンコンバータと,
を備える請求項1に記載の受信器。 - 前記ダウンコンバータは,
前記入力信号の同相成分をおよそベースバンドの同相信号にダウンコンバートするように構成した同相ダウンコンバータと,
前記入力信号の直交成分をおよそベースバンドの直交信号にダウンコンバートするように構成した直交ダウンコンバータと,
を備える請求項1に記載の受信器。 - 前記ダウンコンバータは,
前記入力信号の同相成分を同相低中間周波(IF)信号にダウンコンバートするように構成した同相ダウンコンバータと,
前記入力信号の直交成分を直交低IF信号にダウンコンバートするように構成した直交ダウンコンバータと,
を備える請求項1に記載の受信器。 - 前記ADCの前段に,前記第1周波数帯域の前記信号の少なくとも部分チャネル選択を行うように構成したフィルタを更に備える請求項1に記載の受信器。
- 前記デジタル表現した前記第1周波数帯域の前記信号のチャネル選択を行うように構成したデジタルフィルタを更に備える請求項1に記載の受信器。
- 前記デジタルアップコンバータは,
前記入力信号の同相成分を所望中間周波(IF)の同相デジタル信号にデジタルアップコンバートするように構成した第1デジタルアップコンバータと,
前記入力信号の直交成分を所望IFの直交デジタル信号にデジタルアップコンバートするように構成した第2デジタルアップコンバータと,
を備える請求項1に記載の受信器。 - 前記所望IFの前記同相デジタル信号と,前記所望IFの前記直交デジタル信号と,を結合するように構成したデジタル信号結合器を更に備える請求項8に記載の受信器。
- 受信器において信号を受信する方法であって,
入力信号を第1周波数帯域の中間信号に周波数変換するステップと,
前記中間信号をデジタル化するステップと,
前記中間信号を第2周波数帯域にデジタル変換するステップと,
前記受信器の信号経路に較正信号を注入するステップと,
前記受信器の振幅不均衡及び位相不均衡を検出するステップと,
前記振幅不均衡に基づいて同相信号経路及び直交信号経路のうち少なくとも一方の利得を調整するステップと,
前記位相不均衡に基づいて前記同相信号経路及び前記直交信号経路のうち少なくとも一方の位相を調整するステップと,
を有する方法。 - 前記の入力信号を周波数変換するステップは,
前記入力信号を同相ベースバンド信号成分にダウンコンバートするステップと,
前記入力信号を直交ベースバンド信号成分にダウンコンバートするステップと,
を有する請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記中間信号は,
同相ベースバンド信号成分と,
直交ベースバンド信号成分と,
を含む請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記中間信号について部分チャネル選択を行うステップを更に有する請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記中間信号をデジタル化するステップは,
前記中間信号の同相信号成分をデジタル化するステップと,
前記中間信号の直交信号成分をデジタル化するステップと,
を含む請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記中間信号をデジタル変換するステップは,
前記中間信号の同相信号成分を,所望中間周波(IF)の同相IF成分にデジタルアップコンバートするステップと,
前記中間信号の直交信号成分を,前記所望IFの直交IF成分にデジタルアップコンバートするステップと,
前記同相IF成分と,前記直交IF成分とを結合するステップと,
を含む請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記較正信号を注入するステップは,前記信号経路に直交局部発振(LO)信号又は同相LO信号のうち1つを注入するステップを含む請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記直交LO信号又は同相LO信号のうち前記の1つを,前記較正信号をDC信号にダウンコンバートするために用いるLO信号と同期させる請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記受信器の前記振幅不均衡及び位相不均衡を検出するステップは,
同相中間周波(IF)信号成分を第1DC信号にダウンコンバートするステップと,
直交IF信号成分を第2DC信号にダウンコンバートするステップと,
前記第1DC信号と前記第2DC信号とを結合して結合DC信号を発生するステップと,
前記結合DC信号に基づいて前記位相不均衡を判定するステップと,
を含む請求項10に記載の方法。
