Claims (8)
- 音響エネルギーと電気エネルギーとの間で変換を行うための超音波変換器アレイにおいて、
縦変位方向に沿ってk31共振モードで動作可能であり、上面と、底面と、縦変位方向に関連した少なくとも3つの側面とを有する第1の変換器素子と、
第1の変換器素子内にある第1の電極と、
少なくとも3つの各側面に位置する第2の電極とを備え、
第1の電極と第2の電極とが互いに電気的に分離されていることを特徴とする超音波変換器アレイ。 - 第1の変換器素子は、第1の変換器材料層と、この第1の変換器材料層に対して実質的に平行に配置された第2の変換器材料層とを有し、
第1の変換器材料層および第2の変換器材料層は、前記上面に対して実質的に垂直に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアレイ。 - 前記上面は音響表面であることを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項1記載のアレイ。
- 第1の電極は第1の変換器材料層と第2の変換器材料層との間に設けられ、第2の電極は第2の変換器材料層の外面上に設けられていることを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項2記載のアレイ。
- 前記少なくとも3つの側面は前記上面に対して実質的に垂直に配置され、前記少なくとも3つの側面は第1の変換器材料層および第2の変換器材料層の幅の少なくとも2倍の高さを有することを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項1記載のアレイ。
- さらに、第2の変換器素子と、第3の変換器素子とが設けられ、第1の変換器素子と、第2の変換器素子と、第3の変換器素子とが1つの多次元アレイを形成していることを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアレイ。
- さらに、前記上面に対して実質的に平行に隣接する整合層が設けられていることを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアレイ。
- 第1の変換器素子は縦変位方向に対して実質的に垂直な方向に分極されていることを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアレイ。
