Description
Claims (17)
- 中型又は大型バッテリーパックケースであって、
充放電できる複数の積層型バッテリーセル又は単位モジュール(「単位セル」)を有するバッテリーモジュールを備えてなり、
前記バッテリーパックケースが、その上部と下部それぞれに冷却剤入口部と冷却剤出口部とを備えてなり、前記単位セルを冷却する冷却剤が前記単位セルの積層方向に垂直な方向においてバッテリーモジュールの一方の側から他方の側に流れることができるように、前記冷却剤入口部と前記冷却剤出口部が反対方向に向いており、
前記バッテリーパックケースが、前記冷却剤入口部から前記バッテリーモジュールに延びる流動空間(「冷却剤導入部」)と、及び、前記バッテリーモジュールから前記冷却剤出口部に延びる別の流動空間(「冷却剤排出部」)をさらに備えてなり、並びに、
前記セルスタックの上面に対向している前記冷却剤導入部の上端内部が、前記冷却剤入口部とは反対の端部から始まる傾斜面が前記セルスタックの上面に対して前記冷却剤入口部の方向に傾きが増加する構造に構成されてなる、バッテリーパックケース。 - 前記冷却剤導入部の上端内部が、2つ以上の連続した傾斜面を含む構造に構成されてなる、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記上端内部の前記傾斜平面が、前記冷却剤入口部とは反対の端部から始まる第一傾斜面と、前記第一傾斜面と前記冷却剤入口部との間に位置する第二傾斜面とを、前記第二傾斜面が前記第一傾斜面よりは大きな傾きを有するように備えてなる、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記第二傾斜面が、前記セルスタックの上面に対して45度を超えない傾斜範囲内で、前記第一傾斜面の傾きよりも20%〜500%大きな傾きを有してなる、請求項3に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記第一傾斜面が、前記セルスタックの上面に対して15度以下の傾きを有してなる、請求項3に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記第一傾斜面が、前記セルスタックの上面に対して2度〜7度の傾きを有してなる、請求項5に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記第二傾斜面が、前記第二傾斜面が前記第一傾斜面の傾きを超える傾きを有する範囲内で前記セルスタックの上面に対して10度〜30度の傾きを有してなる、請求項3に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記冷却剤入口部が、前記第二傾斜面の傾き以下の傾きを有してなする、請求項3に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記冷却剤入口部が、前記第二傾斜面の傾き以上の傾きを有してなる、請求項3に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記冷却剤入口部が、前記冷却剤入口部が前記第二傾斜面の傾きを超える傾きを有する範囲内で、前記セルスタックの上面に対して30度〜60度の傾きを有してなる、請求項9に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記冷却剤入口部と反対の端部が、前記セルスタックの高さの10%以下の高さだけ前記セルスタックの上面から離れている、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記冷却剤入口部とは反対の端部が、1mm〜10mmの高さだけ前記セルスタックの上面から離れている、請求項11に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記バッテリーセルがリチウム二次電池である、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記冷却剤排出部が、前記セルスタックの底部に対して均一な高さを有してなる、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記バッテリーパックケースが、前記冷却剤がバッテリーモジュールを通って流れた後、前記冷却剤入口部から導入された前記冷却剤を前記冷却剤出口部まで移動させるために、前記冷却剤入口部又は前記冷却剤出口部に吹き込みファンをさらに備えた構造で構成されてなる、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- バッテリーモジュールが、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケースに取り付けられている構造で構成されている、中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記バッテリーパックが、電気自動車又はハイブリッド電気自動車用電源として使用されるものである、請求項16に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
