Description
Claims (10)
- 中型又は大型の、バッテリーパックケースであって、
充放電できる複数の積層型バッテリーセル又は単位モジュール(「単位セル」)を有するバッテリーモジュールが備え付けられてなり、
前記バッテリーパックケースが、該バッテリーパックケースの上部と下部のそれぞれに冷却剤入口部と冷却剤出口部とを備えてなり、前記冷却剤入口部と前記冷却剤出口部が反対方向に向いており、前記単位セルを冷却する冷却剤が、前記単位セルの積層方向に垂直な方向においてバッテリーモジュールの一方の側から他方の側に流れることができるものであり、
前記バッテリーパックケースが、前記冷却剤入口部から前記バッテリーモジュールに延びる流動空間(「冷却剤導入部」)と、及び、前記バッテリーモジュールから前記冷却剤出口部まで延びる別の流動空間(「冷却剤排出部」)を更に備えてなり、
単位セルスタックの上面に面している前記冷却剤導入部の上端内部が、前記冷却剤入口部とは反対の端部から始まる傾斜面が前記単位セルスタックの上面に対して前記冷却剤入口部の方向に正(+)の角で傾けられて構成されてなり、
前記冷却剤入口部が、前記バッテリーモジュールを備えてなる前記中型又は大型バッテリーパックケースが備え付けられる機器の内部構造に対応して、前記傾斜面の傾斜角(A)より大きい角(B)で傾けられてなり、
前記冷却剤入口部の傾斜角(B)が20度〜60度であるとき、前記斜面の傾斜角(A)が3度〜5度である、バッテリーパックケース。 - 前記冷却剤入口部の傾斜角(B)が、20度〜50度である、請求項1に記載された中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記冷却剤入口部が、前記単位セルスタックの長さに相当する前記バッテリーパックケースの長さの5%〜25%に相当する幅を有してなる、請求項1に記載された中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記冷却剤入口部とは反対の端部が、前記単位セルスタックの高さの10%以下に相当する高さで、前記バッテリーセルスタックの上面から離れてなる、請求項1に記載された中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記冷却剤入口部とは反対の端部が、1mm〜10mmの高さで、前記バッテリーセルスタックの上面から離れてなる、請求項1に記載された中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記単位セルの積層方向における前記バッテリーパックケースの長さが、前記単位セルの横方向における前記バッテリーパックケースの長さより大きく、前記バッテリーパックケースが構成されてなる、請求項1に記載された中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 前記冷却剤排出部が、前記単位セルスタックの底面に対して均一な高さを有してなる、請求項1に記載された中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 吹き込みファンが、前記冷却剤入口部又は前記冷却剤出口部にさらに備え付けられてなり、前記冷却剤が前記バッテリーモジュールを介して流れた後に、前記冷却剤入口部を介して導入された前記冷却剤を、前記冷却剤出口部まで移動させる構造を有してなる、前記バッテリーパックケースが構成されてなる、請求項1に記載された中型又は大型バッテリーパックケース。
- 請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載された中型又は大型バッテリーパックケースに備え付けられてなる構造を有してなる、前記バッテリーモジュールが構成されてなる、中型又は大型バッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーパックが、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、又はプラグインハイブリッド電気自動車の電力源として使用されるものである、請求項9に記載された中型又は大型バッテリーパック。
