かかる課題を解決せんとして、本発明者は鋭意研究の結果、押出成型コンクリート瓦の表面に強靭な連続塗膜を形成せんとする従来の塗装方法を改め、スラリー層に着目して層全体を染色することによる塗装方法を開発したものであり、本発明の要旨は、以下に存する。

乾式押出成型コンクリート瓦の塗替方法であって、旧塗膜をケレン作業により除去し、該瓦のスラリー層に浸透性のある着色剤により、連続塗膜を形成することなくスラリー層全体を染色し、その表面に合成樹脂塗料により玉吹き塗装することによって、非連続塗膜を形成してなることを特徴とする押出成型コンクリート瓦の塗替方法。

本発明になる押出成型コンクリート瓦の塗替方法は、瓦表面に連続塗膜を形成することではなく、スラリー層を浸透性のある着色剤により着色するという点に特徴を有する。

浸透性のある着色剤としては、着色剤を加えた合成樹脂や、染料が例示でき、セメントスラリー層への浸透性、親和性、耐候性、耐水性の高いものであれば、いずれの着色剤でも使用できる。染料の種類としては、その性質、使用方法によって、様々な染料があるが、上記の様な特性を持つものであれば、特に限定無く使用できる。
