Description
本発明は、電灯に関し、詳しくは発光ダイオード(以下、単にLEDとも称する)光源を具備する電灯に関する。
前記LEDランプは、自動車に既設の好適なリフレクターへの組み込みが容易であり、従来使用していた白熱光源と互換性がある。
容積部分28の内部には印刷回路基板30が位置付けられ、通常の電気的トレース(図示せず)を有し、電気的接点32が、LED18に対する電気的接点を提供している。
ヒートシンク12及び12aは、空気が自由に循環して必要な冷却を助成するよう、リフレクター42及び42aから離間させることが好ましい。
以上、本発明を実施例を参照して説明したが、本発明の内で種々の変更をなし得ることを理解されたい。

Claims (12)
- LEDランプであって、
底部に孔を有する実質的に凹形のリフレクターにして、該リフレクターの後方に突出する複数のリフレクタースタッドを有するリフレクターと、
外側リムによって包囲された、隆起した切頭円錐状中央部を有する実質的に凹形のヒートシンクと、
切頭円錐状中央部に取り付けたサイドエミットLEDと、
切頭円錐状中央部と外側リムとの間の円周方向平坦領域にして、外側面及び内側面を有する円周方向平坦領域と、
切頭円錐状中央部との間に容積部分を画定する様式下に切頭円錐状中央部に固定したカバーにして、リフレクターの前方に突出する複数のカバースタッドを有するカバーと、
容積部分内に位置付けられ、LEDへの電気的接点を有する印刷回路基板と、
印刷回路基板に電荷を送るための、カバーにおける少なくとも1つの電気的接点と、
を含み、
前記リフレクタースタッドとカバースタッドとが、前記円周方向平坦領域に形成した複数のバーブ内で係合するLEDランプ。 - ヒートシンクが金属製である請求項1のLEDランプ。
- 金属がアルミニュームである請求項2のLEDランプ。
- カバーが円周方向フランジを含み、該円周方向フランジが円周方向平坦領域の外側面に固定される請求項1のLEDランプ。
- 円周方向フランジが両面テープによって外側面に固定される請求項4のLEDランプ。
- 自動車用のLED光源であって、
底部に孔を有する実質的に凹形のリフレクターにして、該リフレクターの後方に突出する複数のリフレクタースタッドを有するリフレクターと、
前記孔内に位置決めされ且つリフレクターに固定された実質的に凹形のヒートシンクにして、外側リムによって包囲された隆起した切頭円錐状中央部を有するヒートシンクを有するLEDランプと、
切頭円錐状中央部に取り付けたサイドエミットLEDと、
切頭円錐状中央部と外側リムとの間に位置付けられ、外側面及び内側面を有する円周方向平坦領域と、
切頭円錐状中央部との間に容積部分を画定する様式下に円周方向平坦領域の外側面に固定したカバーにして、前記リフレクターの前方に突出する複数のカバースタッドを有するカバーと、
前記容積部分内に位置付けられ、LEDへの電気的接点を有する印刷回路基板と、
印刷回路基板に電荷を送るための、前記カバーにおける少なくとも1つの電気的接点と、
を含み、
前記リフレクタースタッドとカバースタッドとが、前記円周方向平坦領域に形成した複数のバーブ内で係合するLED光源。 - LEDランプが、円周方向平坦領域の内側面とリフレクターとの間に位置決めした両面テープによりリフレクターに固定される請求項6のLED光源。
- カバーがフランジを含み、該フランジが円周方向平坦領域の外側面に固定される請求項7のLED光源。
- カバーのフランジが両面テープによって円周方向平坦領域の外側面に固定される請求項8のLED光源。
- 自動車用のLED光源であって、
底部に孔を有し、該孔が環状の平坦面により包囲された実質的に凹形のリフレクターと、
リフレクターの後方に突出する、前記環状の平坦面上の複数のリフレクタースタッドと、
前記孔内に位置決めされ且つリフレクターに固定された実質的に凹形のヒートシンクにして、外側リムによって包囲された隆起した切頭円錐状中央部を有するヒートシンクを有するLEDランプと、
切頭円錐状中央部に取り付けたサイドエミットLEDと、
切頭円錐状中央部と外側リムとの間に位置付けられ、外側面及び内側面を有する円周方向平坦領域と、
切頭円錐状中央部との間に容積部分を画定する様式下に円周方向平坦領域の外側面に固定したカバーにして、リフレクターの前方に突出する複数のカバースタッドを有する円周方向フランジを有するカバーと、
前記容積部分内に位置付けられ、LEDへの電気的接点を有する印刷回路基板と、
印刷回路基板に電荷を送るための、前記カバーにおける少なくとも1つの電気的接点と、
を含み、
前記リフレクタースタッドとカバースタッドとが、前記円周方向平坦領域に形成した複数のバーブ内で係合するLED光源。 - 円周方向平坦領域の内側面とリフレクターとの間に位置決めした両面テープを有している請求項10のLED光源。
- カバーの円周方向フランジと円周方向平坦領域の外側面との間に両面テープを有している請求項11のLED光源。
