Description
a)互いに向かい合う環状面を有し、外周上に凹部を形成する環状本体と、
b)各ボスが、環状本体の両端部上に該端部に同軸に位置する、一対のボスと、
c)それぞれ各ボスと各環状面との間に同軸に並置されるようになされた一対の弾性環状部材と、
d)ボスをそれぞれ環状本体の方へ押し付け、それによって弾性部材を半径方向外側にパイプの内面に接触させて変形し、弾性部材と内面との間にシールを形成し、それによって、環状本体上の凹部とパイプ内面と弾性部材との間に密閉された環状空間を形成する手段と、
e)環状空間に流体を導入する第1のチャネルと、環境空間を真空排気するか、あるいは環状空間を所望の温度に維持する第2のチャネルとを備える、環状空間に流体を導入する手段と、
f)装置の両端部上のパイプの内部セグメント間の連通を可能にし、それによって、装置が使用されている間のパイプ内の圧力蓄積を防止するために、装置を貫通して延びるベントと、を備えており、
装置が、環状本体および一対のボスを貫通して延びており、第1および第2の端部を有するボルトをさらに含み、一対のボスの第1のボスが、ボルトの第1の端部にしっかりと固定されており、押付け手段が、ボルトの第2の端部と協働するナットを備える装置を提供する。
a)互いに向かい合う環状面を有し、外周上に凹部を形成する環状本体と、
b)各ボスが、環状本体の両端部上に該端部に同軸に位置する、一対のボスと、
c)それぞれ各ボスと各環状面との間に同軸に並置されるようになされた一対の弾性環状部材と、
d)ボスをそれぞれ環状本体の方へ押し付け、それによって弾性部材を半径方向外側にパイプの内面に接触させて変形し、弾性部材と内面との間にシールを形成し、それによって、環状本体上の凹部とパイプ内面と弾性部材との間に密閉された環状空間を形成する手段と、
e)第1のチャネルが、環状空間に流体を導入し、第2のチャネルが、環状空間を真空排気するか、あるいは流体が環状空間を循環することを可能にし、それによって環状空間を所望の温度に維持する、第1および第2のチャネルを備える、環状空間に流体を導入する手段と、
f)装置の両端部上のパイプの内部セグメント間の連通を可能にし、それによって、装置が使用されている間のパイプ内の圧力蓄積を防止するために、装置を貫通して延びるベントと、を備えており、
装置が、環状本体および一対のボスを貫通して延びており、第1および第2の端部を有するパイプをさらに含み、一対のボスの第1のボスが、ボルトの第1の端部にしっかりと固定されており、押付け手段が、ボスと、ボルトと協働するナットとの間に延びている周方向に間隔を置いて配置された複数のボルトを備える装置を提供する。
1)パイプ内のセグメントの所に前述の装置を位置決めする工程と、
2)ボスを環状本体の方へ押し付け、それによって、密閉された環状空間を形成する工程と、
3)流体を導入する手段を介して、圧力下で環状空間に流体を充填する工程と、
4)環状空間内に高圧力を確立する工程と、を含む方法を提供する。
Claims (4)
- 内径を有するパイプのセグメントを試験する方法であって、
環状本体と、
前記環状本体の両端部にそれぞれ配置された第1及び第2ボスである一対のボスと、
前記環状本体の端部と前記それぞれのボスの間に、各弾性環状部材が位置付けられた一対の弾性環状部材と、
前記環状本体及び前記一対のボスを貫通して延びるシャフトであって第1及び第2の端部を有するシャフトと、
前記環状本体から離れるように前記シャフトの上方に延びるスリーブを含み、該スリーブを付属した前記第2のボスと、
を備える装置を前記パイプ内に装填するステップと、
前記ボスを相互に向かって押付けて、それにより、前記弾性環状部材を変形させ、前記パイプ内に、前記環状本体と前記パイプの内面と前記弾性環状部材によって区画された第1の環状空間を形成するステップと、
前記スリーブ上に設けられた少なくとも一つの口を通して流体を、前記シャフトと前記環状本体との間に形成された第2の環状空間に、導入するステップと、
前記流体を、前記第2の環状空間から前記第1の環状空間に連通するステップと、
前記第1の環状空間を充填して加圧し、その圧力をモニタするステップと、
を有する方法。 - 請求項1に記載された方法において、
前記第1の環状空間を加圧する前に、
前記第1の環状空間内の空気を、前記少なくとも一つの口を通して退出させるステップを含む方法。 - 請求項1に記載された方法において、
前記装置の一側に置かれた前記パイプ内のガスを、前記装置の他側へと前記装置を通過させ、それにより、前記装置の両側に置かれた前記パイプの内部セグメント間で流体的に連通をする方法。 - 請求項3に記載された方法において、
前記ガスは、前記装置の長さ方向に延びたボアを通過する方法。
