Description
このような問題の対応として、サイズを若干大きめに加工しておき、二度擦り加工等で微調整を行っていた。あるいは、貯水タンクに冷却材を入れたり、貯水タンクの冷却水を取り換えたり、冷却装置を使用して冷却水の温度上昇を抑えたりする例もあった。しかし、二度擦り加工は作業者にとって手間であり、加工品質も作業者に依存しやすい。冷却水の温度上昇を抑える方法においても、冷却材又は冷却水の交換の手間やその管理が面倒であったり、冷却装置を準備するコストが掛かる。水道直結タイプにおいても、冷却水の温度が季節変動する。

Claims (1)
- 玉型データ及びレイアウトデータを入力するデータ入力手段と、眼鏡レンズを保持するレンズ回転軸と仕上げ加工具の回転軸との軸間距離を変動する軸間距離手段と、入力されたデータに基づいて眼鏡レンズの仕上げ加工軌跡を演算して動径角毎の前記軸間変動手段の軸間距離データを含む眼鏡レンズの仕上げ加工データを演算する仕上げ加工演算手段とを備え、レンズ回転軸に保持された眼鏡レンズの周縁を加工具により加工する際に、冷却水供給手段からの冷却水を供給しながら眼鏡レンズの周縁を粗砥石により粗加工した後、前記仕上げ加工データに基づいて仕上げ加工具により仕上げ加工する眼鏡レンズ周縁加工装置において、前記冷却水供給手段により供給される冷却水の温度を検知する温度検知手段と、検知された温度に基づいて前記仕上げ加工データを補正する補正手段であって、冷却水の温度変化に対する仕上げ玉型の動径長の補正量情報を記憶するメモリを有し、検知された温度と前記仕上げ加工軌跡とに基づいて仕上げ加工軌跡の動径角毎に検知温度に対する動径長の補正量を前記メモリに記憶された補正量情報から設定し、設定された補正量に基づいて動径角毎に軸間距離の仕上げ加工データを補正する補正手段と、を備えることを特徴とする眼鏡レンズ周縁加工装置。
